Bought it for my son when he uses his kick tube. Very nice finish to the wood but the lacing to attach the rubber net looks a bit thin but time will tell. Used it on several trips and it has been easier to use than a traditional net. Appears to be a good purchase

The net self is exactly what I wanted. It works great and looks even better. Based on similar nets, it is quite the value. However, it took over 3weeks to arrive and when it did, the magnetic retriever was missing from the box.

When this landing net landed on my doorstep, I immediately thought of a high-quality professional tennis racket only bigger and better suited for the intended purpose of landing fish. It's marketed as a fly fishing net but can easily be used for other types of fishing. The laminated bamboo and hardwood materials of the handle are a work of art, this net is beautiful. The handle provides a smooth and comfortable grip with a waterproof and abrasion-resistant coating. The netting material is a superior clear rubber mesh with smaller holes. Make a quick measurement of your catch with the 1-inch spaced inlaid dots on the arm/handle. The lanyard is long enough to keep the device secured while hanging over your shoulder until needed. The lanyard has a thumb-locking connector on 1 end and a carabiner on the other end. There is also a quick disconnect magnetic fitting included.
