This is a really nice retinol cream. It is somewhat thick and the bottle dispenses a lot. I have to say, as someone with oily skin, it does feel a little greasy to me. It is a pretty heavy cream too. So if you are sensitive to heavier creams, you may not like this. The fragrance is kind of weird. It's floral but it has a weird scent with it. You can tell it's high quality but it's really best for people with drier skin. I also wish they had just put it in a smaller bottle. When you hold the bottle you can really tell it's only half full. They want it to seem like you're getting more for your money which seems unfair. ... show more

I waited a bit to review this item because it took me time to build the courage to use it. I have rosacea skin, and creams like this can sometimes make my skin flare up. To try to avoid this, I used the sandwich method. Wash my face, apply my hydrating serum, lotion, and then wait for at least 15 minutes for my skin to dry, then apply this cream, followed by lotion again. I am also careful to apply a very small amount and start with the edges of my face, working my way to my nose and mouth so the thinnest layer of cream is being applied to the most sensitive areas. I am happy to report that doing all of this has allowed me to use this product successfully with no flare-ups and reap the benefits of a retinal skin care treatment. ... show more

I really like this, and have noticed a change in my skin, but would caution anyone who hasn't used resurfacing creams to start slowly and proceed with caution. This is heavy-duty and can really cause your skin to breakout and dry out if you go ahead and use it every single day. My personal routine is using this twice a week, and buffering it with serum and moisturizer (applied first), followed by another moisturizer applied right after. This needs to be used at nice, and not at the same time as any vitamin C you might be using in your skincare routine, and would recommend wearing sunscreen if you're going to be exposed to UV rays after using this. I'm not too bothered by the scent because I use is as part of a routine and not on its own, so the scent is somewhat drowned out by other products. ... show more

So far so good. I haven't noticed any irritation since adding this to my routine and my skin is rosacea prone. It has a creamier, richer texture that feels like a blanketing lotion. It does have a chemical/medicinal scent to the lotion, which is not the best but it doesn't both me too much. Just be aware if you have a sensitive nose. Because I haven't used anything this strong before, I apply this over my regular moisturizer before bed and my skin looks well moisturized and plump in the mornings. I'm very happy with how well my skin has tolerated this being added to my routine and hope to see more lasting results as I get more use. Right now, I'm noticing less texture and spots, and better moisture retention. For the price I think it's worth it as you don't need very much for both face and neck. ... show more

I am pretty skeptical when it comes to claims by anti-aging products, but this cream really works. I have been using the cream every other night for just over a month and my fine lines are actually diminishing. I have dry skin and have tried similar products in the past, but they were to drying on my skin. That was not the case with this cream, and my skin felt hydrated and smooth. I wanted to love this, but I just couldn't get past the smell! The item looks very fancy, and I was excited to try it. It is a bit tan in color, but is able to be rubbed in fairly easily and does not leave a tint once rubbed in. It did not irritate my skin. Although the item has no added fragrances, the ingredients do have a smell on their own, and--- I hated it. Hours later I was still catching a whiff of the product until I washed it off my face. I'm fairly sensitive to smells, so this might not be as big of an issue for others, but for me I felt like I wouldn't want to keep using this even if it was effective. ... show more
