The AuxBeam bulbs are very good. The bulbs fit easily and tightly in the sockets. Great packaging also. My first set lasted about 4 years before one bulb failed. Highly recommended!

They work fine but ram owners with tipm beware
Size: 9007
I've ran nothing but auxbeam lighting in my vehicles for the last 6 years. I recently got s 05 ram 2500 and wanted to upgrade the lighting. So naturally I went with auxbeam. The bulbs work find but beware. If your mid 2000s ram had the tipm it can cause a lamp out error. And cause the tipm to do wier
d stuff like turn the lights off, on, one off, etc. It can damage the tipm which isn't cheap to replace.. This is no fault to auxbeams products. Just the nature of the tipm trucks. You can get decoders/ antiflicker / resistor modules to trick the tipm into seeing a proper resistance. I how ever didn't want to mess with that so I'm returning the bulbs.

Very bright low-beam, Non-existent high-beam - average rating(s)
Size: 9007
These LED bulbs get a 5-star rating for brightness - I love that part. BUT, they do not operate like the regular (tungsten) bulbs they are replacing - 1-star. Installing them in my 2001 Mercury Sable, my low beams are VERY bright - a serious improvement over the norm. The problem is the low beams are
more like HIGH low-beams or LOW high-beams. When my low beams are on I occasionally get flashes from oncoming drivers. The high-beams on the other hand are not any brighter - in fact, they are a lesser intensity. When the high-beams are switched on, another rank of LEDs becomes active but the LEDs that are on when the low-beams are switched become less intense. Thus, at night, I now switch to high-beams when there are oncoming drivers (no complaints to date) and switch to low-beams for more light when there is no oncoming traffic. I'm keeping these but will have to add long-throw beams to see beyond 700 feet (with the 'low' beams). Installing isn't easy but it isn't all that difficult either. One will have to adapt these bulbs to the Sable (and possibly, Taurus) headlight enclosures - it is not an exact fit. As mentioned in other reviews, you will need to remove then refit the seal ring and it takes a very good small screwdriver to do so. I've had mine for more over a year and I am content with them - except for that high-beam limitation. If you already have these installed in your early '00s Sable, pull in front of a big store window at night and observe your high and low beams. You'll see what I talking about.

Good lights, strange install experience (at least for me)
Size: 9007
I bought these lights to upgrade the stock halogens in my ‘02 mustang GT, and had seen some videos on YouTube about this brand on this specific car that made it look really simple and inexpensive to upgrade. If you look up your vehicle on the Auxbeam sight, you see multiple options, and they’re all k
inda different. That being said, the videos I saw on youtube were NOT of this exact light kit. I had a general idea of how to install them, but not much. Yes, they do come with instructions, but they’re very vague (keep reading, it gets better). So the lights come in, I take the headlights on my car and prepare to start installing the new kit. You quickly find that the retainer for the bulb in my mustang wouldn’t fit around the fan or the weather guard on the bulb itself, so I was forced to take the weather guard off the bulb to get the retainer around it. The way you get the guard off the bulb is with a little tiny Phillips head screw holding the guard in place, then the guard just slides off. Some of the YouTube videos I watched showed this process, so I wasn’t surprised. Here’s where it gets confusing. The screw is TINY! So small. All of the screwdrivers I had couldn’t get it. So I start doing research. On the Auxbeam website’s listing of this specific light, it mentions the kit comes with an Allen key. The amazon listing doesn’t mention any Allen key in the “in the box” section. *i got my kit off amazon* Again, some of the videos I had seen illustrated this process, and the kits in the videos did indeed have an Allen head screw holding the guard in place. But THIS specific kit I got delivered to me had a PHILLIPS HEAD screw, and it didn’t come with an Allen key, on par with the amazon listing. So again, this Phillips head screw was so small I couldn’t use any screwdriver to get it out so I could install the friggin things. At this point, what was only supposed to be a quick 10 minute swap of my light bulbs had turned into a 3 hour head-scratching affair trying to figure out what to do. One of my little hobbies I have is fingerboarding with tech decks, I always have one on me. If you don’t know what they look like, look them up. They have TINY little Phillips head screws holding them together, and them come with a little tool so you can set them up. The tool comes complete with a little tiny Phillips screwdriver. Out of curiosity, I try using it on the screw on the light kit, and voila, it works. So yeah, In order to install this light kit on my 2002 mustang GT, I had to use a tiny Tech Deck skate tool, and the whole ordeal took over 3 hours. Anyway, the lights seem to work good. I haven’t had the chance to use them yet since I just installed them today. I just wanted to tell my story in the off chance someone runs into this situation. If you need a tiny screwdriver to get the weather guard off your bulb, run to target and pick up a tech deck pack with a tool included for around $9.

First Set was a Fluke | Second Set much better | Auxbeam is a good company
Size: H7
The light output of these bulbs is pretty good. I would say to have the most benefit to use a projector housing but a reflector housing works fine too and there is still less glare and color shifting from HID headlights. The first set of these I received was not that great of quality. One bulb would
turn off and on by itself at random. You can read my original review below to see my initial interaction with the company. After that review went live Auxbeam changed their tune and sent me another pair. It is a little sad that I had to publish a review to make things right but I guess that’s the world we live in. The quality of the second pair is much better and I no longer have the issue with one bulb turning itself off. LEDs are nice because they come on instantly and are at maximum brightness. The fans are not audible with the engine running and there is no radio interference but I don’t listen to the radio anyway. I tested it to see but I hate commercials. The beam pattern is stable and consistent through my projectors and the bulbs can actually be removed and rotated outside of the fitting. This makes installation easy and adjustment easy as well. They are truly plug and play and do not trigger any warning lights or burnt bulb lights on my dash. Overall I am now pleased with these lights and now that I know the company will stand behind their product, albeit with a little nudge from the customer, I will be purchasing more bulbs from them for my other vehicles. I am docking only one star because it was such a hassle to get a replacement set but overall I am pleased. The product performs as it should. My original review is below for any who wish to read it. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The light output is less than stellar and one of my bulbs kept shutting itself off after a while which was annoying and hazardous. I fixed it by shaving down the plastic on the plug on the light so I could have a better fit with the factory wiring. That seems to have fixed it for now but we shall see. The company offered replacements but wanted me to remove and cut the cords and send pics of that. The whole point to having these installed is to replace old lights. I wasn’t going to cut the cords and drive around with no headlights waiting for my replacements to come in the mail. Also customer support is entirely via email in very broken English. I understand not everyone speaks my language but if you’re going to sell me something you should be able to communicate effectively with me.

The base on these wouldn't fit.

Love the low beam replacement bulbs. The base on these for the highbeams was too fat to fit in the location. Need to have a thinner base to fit in my headlight assembly. Was suppose to fit my truck according to Amazon fit selection. But didn't, love the low beam bulbs, they work great.
