  • Bright lights at a great price.
Bright lights at a great price.

  • Worth the money
For such a small light it's pretty bright. Installed as auxiliary lights on motorcycle. Very satisfied with purchase

  • These do not seem to be 1200 lumens as claimed
These seem pretty well made but I do not think they're 1200 lumems as some reviews have claimed. These might be half as bright. I do like the mounting brackets and bolts which are strong and durable. Once these are bolted in place, they are unlikely to move.

  • Just bright enough.
Installed on 6 of my bikes after being hit by a distracted driver. These lights are discrete, yet bright enough to make me a lot more visible to other drivers. They don’t blind oncoming traffic, or cause issues for other riders in front. I run them through a relay to a switch in bars. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Not bad. Need to know what you are getting.
Relatively sturdy little units. Not sure if they are 1200 lumen. I bought these for the front of my tractor. They will get rained on and I wanted to make sure they will last, so I did what any good engineer would do, I immediately took them apart. :) 3 nickel plated allen machine screws hold the front lens in place. That front cap compresses a flat, clear lens against an opaque silicone seal and the black body of the light. There is another focusing lens that sits on top of the LED. This is what turns it from a flood to a spot light. If you wanted a flood, just remove that plastic lens. the LED PCB is screwed right to the housing, which is good for head dissipation. I did notice that there was not any potting compound used, so I decided to pot the PCB to further protect against moisture. I used a two part clear Hysol epoxy made for this purpose. You'll see in one of my pictures that the PCB is shiny....that is the potting compound after it cured. I angled it so the compound would pool where the wires enter the housing, so it would better seal that as well. I likely went way overboard sealing it up, which is how I like it. The hardware isn't bad. I feel it comes with the right hardware for the price. If you sung up the bolts, nothing moves, which is what you need from hardware. The output is best described as two decent flashlights side by side. By decent I mean, if you went to the Walmart flashlight rack and bought a $10 flashlight. It's two of those. ... show more

  • Not 12 watts each as the listing implies, only 6 watts each
I measured the wattage several different ways. At the car battery, first at 12.1 volts and .51 amps = 6.2V, then with engine running, 14.3V and .43A = 6.1V, then stopped engine and 12.4V and .49A = 6.1V. I was surprised how consistent it was with different voltages. I also used a 2ohm resistor in series and measured 1.05V drop from 12.14V, so at 11.09V it was getting 1.05/2 amps = 5.8V. I'll try to add pics when I get them installed. ... show more

  • Work as Described
I installed these as headlights on my sons ATV. They work perfectly for us. Bright enough and installed pretty easily

  • Most bang for the buck with 1200 lumens.
These LED units are some of the best I have ever tried through several bikes and many thousands of miles. At 1200 lumens, they provide fantastic day time and night time usefulness. My primary goal in adding running lights to a bike is to increase my visibility to other drivers without being obnoxiously bright. I now have that as can be seen in my pictures. I like them so much I now have bought two more sets after first use on the R1100RT a few months ago. The only thing I would like to see would be a chrome or polished aluminum finish and maybe some different color lenses. I will be mounting the last two pair on an R1200C as both front and rear running lights where I will need to add some ruby red glass to the rear to be legal. Otherwise great product at a great price. Already thinking about what other vehicles I could use them on. A little update (3/19/21) I have now bought and installed these on four bikes. Front and rear on three and only the front on one. I like them so much that's 7 pairs now. I added a few pictures of the latest install on a BMW R1200C where they are mounted horizontally on the front and hanging down on the rear from custom brackets I fabricated. I also included pictures of the rear ones lit up with the lens I made from a red reflector. You can see in the last picture how the reflector has to be made thinner around the circumference & about a 1/4" wide strip that I cut with a Dremel tool. Then simply remove the three Allen head bolts holding the ring on, remove the clear lens and insert the red one & reinstall the outer ring. Be very careful retightening those little bolts, they do strip thread pretty easily. ... show more
