Happy to report that these are direct plug and play replacement of OEM bulbs. i was concerned about another reviewer’s 2017 Impreza flickering issue with the DRL. The high beam bulbs act as the DRL and I do not see any flickering with the Forester. I have been wanting to upgrade to LED headlights, and I choose these for two main reasons. No extra wiring and No fan. LED bulbs are only as good as the electronics. I’ve had too many household LED fail prematurely because of the electronics. So I am hoping this fanless design will dissipate enough heat as to protect the electronics and these will last the claimed 50,000 hours of operation. Time will tell. ... show more

I was a bit concern buying this product as i have never done replacing a car lights before (my Buick Encore Base Model 2016) . But i still took a chance since i really wanted my car to have a white light. I read a couple of reviews for this LED light and it convinced me to get it since amazon noted that it would fit on my Buick Encore Base Model 2016. Bare in mind i haven't replaced any of my high beam and low beam for my car but i'm telling you after doing it that its not difficult as i thought it would be. You just have to be careful doing it and wear gloves just to be safe and to avoid touching the LED directly. Only took me less than 30 minutes. And if you have a bit smaller hand that helps too. The white light looks better on my car and the low beam is just the right amount of brightness. I was worried that cars on the opposite lane might flash on me but they did not. Again its more brighter than a regular halogen but just the right amount of brightness for me to see the road more clearly. And the high beam, o man, it really has a longer and brighter range specially if you pass by a road thats totally dark, it would really make it bright for you. Theres 4 LED Light in the box and its really worth the price. You'll notice which are the 2 for low beams and the 2 that are for the high beam.( the red gasket/rubber around it). As far as longevity, i cant tell yet, it says on description 50000 hrs but will see. Durability wise, it seems they use good quality material and fits well and snugged tightly at the slot. Hopefully it lasts long but for now i would say i'm pretty happy with my purchase. ... show more

I ordered this set of LED bulbs to replace the OEM Halogen bulbs that burned out after 5-plus years. I replaced my high beam bulbs with LED lamps from the same manufacturer and was very pleased with the fit and quality. These bulbs replaced my low-beams, and what a difference all the way around!!! Ultra bright WHITE light, not that ineffective blue color. Visibility is astounding! What took me by surprise on both the low beam and high beam LED lamps from AUTOONE is how they come packaged. Ultra high quality box and printing with a finish worthy of an APPLE product! The low beam lamps even come with very detailed instructions in an actual booklet, along with very high quality white fabric gloves for handling! The lamps themselves are constructed of aircraft quality aluminum, with other high quality materials. They look and feel premium. It took me around 10 minutes to install the high beam lamps and around 20 minutes for the low beams. The passenger side was very easy to install, the driver's side took longer as there is an air filter box in the way on my 2017 Hyundai Elantra GT. With some maneuvering, I was able to work my hands in there and get it installed. Over-all I am exceptionally impressed with the quality of these lamps. I could not give any stars for longevity, as I just installed them, but based on their high quality materials, I'm sure I will get a long life out of them. Buy these to upgrade the brightness of your headlights. You won't regret it! ... show more

Installed on a 2007 Honda Pilot; review is from an SUV perspective. I have a suspicion that these perform differently with cars as opposed to trucks from the "bad" reviews, so just boting this now. Pros: - Easy installation. True plug and play. The only hard part was honestly the placement of the bulb in my vehicle because the back of the headlight assembly is hard to work on. No flickering, no warning dash lights coming on. No problems at all. - Absolutely no blinding glare from street signs (stop, merge, exit signs). In fact, you can actually READ them better with these lights from far away. - Nobody flashed their lights at me, so I don't think they are too blinding to oncoming drivers in the other lane. This was a huge reason I bought these lights, but I only passed three people my entire ride, so I might come back and update this. - Clear, crisp light for about 50 feet or so for low beams. - Anything in front of you will get a sneak peek into the afterlife if you hit them with your high beams of these bulbs. Oh my god. Do not high beam someone with these bulbs. DO NOT. Turning them on makes it seem like it's not even nighttime on desolate back roads and the light was intense even as the driver using them. - That said, the high beams offerres probably 300 feet and much wider visibility in front of and on the sides of the vehicle. Like I said above, when I parked and turned my lights off I had to adjust my own eyes just driving behind these lights. PLEASE be careful with them. Cons: - Not crazy about them at first. The low beams seem too low and I feel that you should have further visibility with them. With my halogens I only drove with low beams on my 1hr commute home through desolate back roads. There was no question that those lights illuminated enough, but with these it feels like they don't really illuminate enough distance for you to stop in case of a hazard. - OH MY GOD THE HIGH BEAMS ARE BRIGHT. OW. I only just put them in yesterday. Today marks only one full day with them installed, so I am still getting used to these lights. Not sure if I like them yet. But I wanted to give a fair and honest first impression for a review in case of anyone debating buying these. ... show more
