I'm between sizes and based on reviews, I did end up sizing up to a medium. I wish I had stuck with my normal size. The lining under the shorts are quite loose in comparison to the waist of the overshorts and offer very little compression. I'm small waisted with larger thighs, so this was usually the opposite of my usual problem. I bought them to weight train in, but don't know that I'll be able to actually work out in them with all the movement. I'll definitely wear them as athleisure, though.

I got these in the typical size I order XL and I do like them and they fit great but the material is very weird. There seems to be spandex under the short part and then over that it is very flowy/loose. But aside from that I do like them I would probably just purchase a bigger size.

My daughter uses these for her tennis workouts. She says they are very comfortable and breathable. The bike shorts underneath do not ride up while she plays. Even though they are very short, they look flattering. The only downside is there are no pockets but she tucks them under somehow.
