  • Quality vintage product
Format: Cards
Had tons of fun playing this game when we were 8-12 years old. Learned lots of stuff I can remember to this day. The "vintage" edition shown here allows you to use the deck as a standard card deck -- not available in the vintage edition -- but that's value added because we can use the very same deck for gin rummy and whist and other card games. High value, therefore. ... show more

  • Great Teaching Game
Format: Cards
Authors is a perfect tool to teach kids (and adults) about famous authors while playing a fun, competitive game. It’s like “Go Fish” for adults. Each card is unique and has to be specifically asked for. You have to pay attention and remember what your opponents said. My children and now their children regularly ask to play it. I scored it a 4 star only because I much prefer the original game. The old was just Authors. This newer version is also a deck of playing cards marked with ♠️ ♦️ etc. ... show more

  • Easy and educational
Format: Cards
I ordered all 3 Decks so we could play after my surgery. We never used them. We did own this set when I was a child and we learned about authors. I even remembered it for a trivia question. Teach your kids and have fun!
