I was worried about this scrunchie because I saw a negative review that questioned the product's authenticity. So, I took apart the scrunchie at the seam and removed a tiny sample. I then re-sewed the area; you cannot tell I ever tested it. I can verify that the fabric passed both the burn and bleach tests to show that it is, in fact, genuine silk. I was satisfied with the results! Hopefully, this review will help someone else so that you will not need to take all the steps I did. LOL. I have used almost every type of scrunchie (Blissy, Slip, Fischer's Finery, Lilysilk, etc). This scrunchie is similar to Slip and Blissy and is actually better than Fischer's Finery to me! I double-wrapped it around my ponytail and did not take it out for over 8 hours. There was NO DENT OR CREASING! I was shocked! The only silk scrunchies that do not cause dents in my thick, curly hair are usually Slip, Blissy (the oversized one), and Lilysilk. I am highly impressed with this outcome and recommend this item!

I was a bit hesitant to purchase these scrunchies, as I had seen many similar options for cheaper on Amazon. So glad I purchased these. I have longer curly hair and sometimes dread the “dent and creases” that come from putting my hair up. I purchased the small and large scrunchie combo. They are awesome!! The small scrunchies hold my hair well when in a ponytail. It does not slide down throughout the day, which I love. The big scrunchie is perfect for throwing my hair in a messy bun or keeping my hair nice and neat while sleeping. I toss it in a high pony before bed and it looks perfect in the morning. I’m can stretch my days in between refreshes due to these scrunchies. The quality is great. Highly recommend.
