This is a great, personalized chain that demonstrates a passion for baseball without being too showy. This was a little long for my 8yo, but we removed some of the thicker chain and it is just fine. Good quality clasp, and hefty metal (but not TO heavy). It did cause some discoloration around the neck, but that's to be expected with long wear times. Gender neutral and at a good price.

I liked a similar version of this necklace so much that I ordered another almost identical one with my other initial. In my original review of the first necklace, I noted that the sports-oriented theme is so understated that it's almost impossible to see, and that is true of this one as well. It's made from nice, heavy-weight stainless steel, and it wears well. I really like the look. There is one thing, however, that will keep this one from a five-star review, and that is the weak link from the chain to the letter. If you look closely, you can see it's quite thin. In fact, when I removed the shrink wrap around the letter, it broke.

This Initial Pendant Baseball Necklace for Boys looks really good and seems like a good-quality Necklace, especially for the price point its in! Its a great size, lightweight, and according to my 5yr-old-son comfortable to wear. The clasp is very efficient. Bought this necklace for my son and suddenly he walks around like he’s got a signing bonus with the Yankees. The baseball stitching on the letter is a hilarious touch — he actually checks himself out in the mirror like it’s his rookie card photo. Chain is solid, doesn’t feel cheap, and it survived a slide into the backyard “home plate” (aka the sandbox). If your kid wants to look like an MVP without needing a batting average, this necklace does the trick.

This necklace is beautiful and high-quality! I am so excited to wear it to my son’s first baseball game! I wanted a heavier chain that wasn’t dainty, and the ability to wear it close to my neck so that it would show over t-shirts. This necklace has all of those options! There are no dings or chips or loose links in the chain. I just wish they had a soccer one so I could get her initial too! But I highly recommend this for baseball parents!
