I bought these to grow baby succulents and basically have my own plant nursery. Most of the pots were in good shape, but there were a few that had pretty large cracks in them. That's the only reason why I gave 4 stars and not 5. My solution was to superglue the cracks and then cover it with white paint. That was months ago and the pots are still holding up just fine. I have noticed also that there is a blackish-green mold that has developed on some of the pots? I'm not so sure why that's happening, because, with succulents, the water drains out fairly quickly and the soil doesn't stay damp for very long. It very well could be my own fault though. These pots are great for succulents or for starting seeds, or for permanently housing small succulents. These would also be great for party favors or something like that. ... show more

After reading the reviews, I was hesitant of ordering for fear that they would arrive broken. They arrived yesterday, and they were in a box with a lot of packing and in another box. The box was marked fragile! I carefully opened the box with the terra-cotta clay pots in it, and they were packed very well, and not one was broken, chipped or cracked.
