First: Love the boots. I bought the black pair couple of years ago and since I loved the fur and cute long black spikes so much I purchased the chestnut & tan this year. Received the chestnut today and so disappointed that fur quality is not the same. Fur is trimmed and round and much shorter with some invisible black spikes. It is just another pair of shoes now, the luxurious fur is what made them unique. As you can see from the pictures black ones that I’ve worn these past 2 winters look better than the new ones. Keeping the chestnut and the tan when I receive them, not worth the trouble returning them. Why change the fur? Hope the tan ones look like the old pair I love. Let’s hope. For size reference I ordered half size smaller than my normal size. Comfortable. No arch support but comfortable. The new pair has a certain smell that I don’t remember from my first order. Perhaps once aired it goes away. Update- yes, keeping the chestnut as it is…but returning the tan. They both have shorter fur with little/no long spikes. Such shame they changed it; the black ones from two years ago are the ones I love. These new ones…meh ... show more

These boots are great! I usually wear a 9 and ordered an 8.5. They fit perfect and are warm and super cozy along with looking great with leggings or a pair of jeans . The fur is quality. The traction isn’t so great on snow or ice but everything else makes up for it! I sprayed them with waterproofing for suede. I love them ! 😀 ... show more
