I gave this to my one-year-old for Christmas. She plays with it a lot and really likes all the animals. It's such a cute toy that is also educational in many ways. She can learn the names of animals and the sounds they make, but she can also practice opening and closing the barn, which takes some dexterity. The Velcro is pretty strong, so she initially had trouble opening it herself. Now she's a pro at it. She's also figuring out how to make the animal noises come on (by squeezing the animals, each in a different spot). The toy seems to be well made. I don't know how long the batteries will last, but they're still going strong. The only semi-negative thing I have to say is that the animal sounds are kind of loud and there's no way to adjust the volume. And once you hit the button, the sound plays three times. So don't accidentally squeeze one while everyone else is asleep! ... show more

    • Really really cute, kind of loud
This is the CUTEST little farm set. The animals are just little and fun. My daughter was terrified of the "mooo" at first (it is pretty loud and I can see how it would freak her out a bit) but she eventually grew out of that haha.

We already had one of these and was awesome. This one though is same accept 2 of the animals don’t have electric sound mechanisms in them. They have manual squeakers in them so the kids can not make them make sounds. But still a great toy as the kids play with them always.

We bought this set as a back up to the "my first pet" set we have as our 16 month old daughter just loves that set and we wanted a few more in case they got lost or ruined. I am beginning to think this set wins. We have the safari set too. All of them are adorable. My daughter just loves the duck in this farm set and refuses to put it down. She takes it everywhere, in the car, shopping, out to eat, and to bed. They seem to be the perfect size for her to hold on to. The sounds are cute too. This is a super cute toy. I previously bought this toy from a different source as a gift to some of my grandchildren. I decided to buy this item for another grandchild; however, I am not as pleased with this purchase as the cow only made its sound once then quit working. The duck and pig rattle and squeak which is fine - nothing too exciting. My granddaughter loves how the rooster crows. The rooster is the favorite animal because it really is the only animal that makes a fun sound. ... show more

OMG, this is just the cutest toy ever! The animals are such great quality and they all make great sounds. Also the name of the animal (rooster, cow, pig, & chicken) are embroidered on the side of the animal. The barn is cute too with the velcro tag on it to keep the roof closed so it can be opened and the animals can be put in and taken out.
