  • Regarding the 72" Gaming Desk ... Tony the Tiger says it is GRRRRREEAAAAAAAT!
Size: With RGB Mouse Pad Color: Black
Had minor issue with one of the tablet holders being cracked. No pieces in bag or in shipping box, so defective piece was packaged and shipped. Other reviews mention to not tighten down screws until all are placed. This is ABSOLUTELY spot on advice. In addition, If you are able to use some sort of bar clamp to keep the desk and shelf surfaces pulled together to minimize seams. And yes, they will tend to spread apart while you are tightening the screws, even tightening them evenly. I left the underdesk storage shelf off on mine, decided that I wanted the extra leg room. Now that the desktop has been populated with all of my stuff, I might put it back on. In the meantime, the mesh panel is a great place for all the silly wall warts, ac adapters, excess cable coiled, etc to be zip tied to. I am sure that it was not meant for this officially, but the genius designed that decided to use the mesh panel needs to have a few drinks bought for him. At the minimum. The shelves above desk, you know - for the monitors, being just a little bit higher would greatly help me out with my setup. I haven't done it yet, but I do plan on drilling through the mounting holes, and moving the mounting legs to the top of the desk. It will also help distribute the weight better, and hopefully reduce the slight shake that occurs when I am typing 150+wpm. As it is, there are 6 legs that mount under the desk, so weight of the monitors and whatever else is kind of spread across the 6 legs. Problem is that the legs are bolted on (2 bolts each) into plastic anchors that have been pre-placed into the bottom of the desk surface. The 4 position power strip is kind of worthless. It won't fit wall warts at all, only regular square or rectangular plugs. If you have a large round one, forget about it. It will take up block 1 or 2 other outlets besides the one that you are trying to use. That being said, it is convenient for temporarily plugging in whatever you may be needing to plug in on a short term use basis. I zip tied a 12 outlet Belkin surge protected power strip to one of the desk legs. It has a 12ft cord, no issues snaking it over to a wall outlet. I have the desk sitting in roughly the middle of a game / family room, on a wood floor. Surprisingly, it is perfectly level. The plastic adjusters slide all over the place, even when I take care to avoid. I ended up putting non-skid pads under each adjuster and though desk doesn't slide around at all anymore, it is just the slightest bit unstable. See monitor shelf comment above. I think that removing the adjusters themselves and sitting desk direct onto non-skid pad will help further. The best solution will be to remove the adjustors and place non-compressible skid pad under each leg. I just don't have any on hand at the moment. Would I buy it again knowing what I know now? You bet. I will also implement all the things that were mentioned above as well. Your mileage may vary. ... show more

  • Exactly what I was looking for
Size: With RGB Mouse Pad Color: Black
I've been in the market for a new desk for the better part of the last year and when I saw this desk pop up around $50-$75 less than other desks I had been looking at I jumped on it and I'm very glad I did. This is a larger purchase and one most people will be keeping around for a while so I will try my best to be in depth with pros and cons. Pros: ● HUGE! - This desk fits my two 32in monitors and a smaller 21in monitor as well as a lamp and my Meta Quest 2 all on the top shelf. Still with room for some knick knacks. ● Pretty! As a general rule I'm not a huge fan of the "l33t gam3r" aesthetic and I feel this desk strikes a tasteful balance. The carbon fiber top and simple black metal make the RGB strip feel a lot more subtle. ● Sturdy! I can get pretty into matches of overwatch and find myself getting a bit...rough with the keyboard and mouse, thankfully the desk has sturdy enough of a frame to where the desk, and in turn the monitors, stay perfectly still. ●STORAGE! There are so many areas on the desk to display things and keep things near by, I especially LOVE the headset stand! ● POWER! The AC outlets in the back are so convenient for misc addons and charging my phone. I also use one of the USB ports for the LED strip Cons: ● The mousepad is too big! This is really the only flaw I can see with the desk, the mouse pad that comes with the desk is actually too wide to fit on the keyboard tray. This wasn't a huge deal to me because I am not a huge fan of plugging in my mousepad but if that's a selling point then its something you should keep in mind. Tips: A few things I want to point out to keep in mind when building this! The holes for the LED strip retaining brackets and the holes for the keyboard tray are just small pre drilled pilot holes that you're expected to hand twist a small small SMALL screw into. This proved to be VERY hard especially with the included tools. I can not recommend enough that you pick up a cheap Dremel tool or small drill bit for your drill to make the holes deeper before trying to screw it in. I tried to screw them in for a solid 20 minutes before busting out the dremel and having them all done in 5! This is a LARGE desk, it took me about 3 hours to put together. I didn't list this under the cons section because its really to be expected with a desk of this size but I feel it's important to point it out so you can know what to expect and how much time you might need to set aside. Overall I'm so pleased with the desk and I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Cant recommend it enough! ... show more

  • Turned into a Music Production Desk
Size: With RGB Mouse Pad Color: Black
Plenty of room. I’m not a gamer so I use mine for a music production desk. I mounted the speakers on stands mounted to the second shelf. This will allow that space for smaller speakers on that shelf I mounted a 32” curved monitor on the top shelf using a pivot mount. Holds up steady. The instructions aren’t perfect in explaining which way things should line up. When assembling I made sure not to tighten down before making sure that’s the way things should line up. A good sturdy desk and would recommend it to anyone looking for a stabile work space. The only I wished it had was a remote for the lights instead of an app. ... show more
