For reference, I'm 5'8 and 155 lbs. I wear a small in all of the aurola bottoms. These are by FAR my favorite shorts for the gym. They are the only things I wear. They are a fabulous dupe for the alphalete amplify collection. They're durable, they last, they're so flattering, and they're comfortable. I can't recommend them highly enough. They have such cute colors and a lot of variety. My only complaint is the waist band is a tad high for me and i usually fold it down. But i don't mind doing that, and I would rather fold it down than have it be too low. And I believe the price has gone up from when I first started buying from aurola, but the price has gone up on everything. And I still think they're worth it.

This review is on the Magenta V2 3.6" scrunch shorts that have the accent on the side. They are a great pair of shorts, and I'm very pleased with the purchase. I've probably gone overboard with my purchase of this brand. I currently own no less than 17 of the 3.6" AUROLA shorts.

I purchased both the Tuxedo Blue and Flame Orange in the 3.6 length. The orange shorts that were sent were longer than the blue ones. The Tuxedo Blue is such a pretty color. These are similar to my other Aurola shorts, but may be slightly snugger in the waist. You can see a panty line, which is less noticeable in darker colors- this is typical among all workout leggings and shorts in my experience. These shorts do everything that they advertise- nice booty lift and a bit of compression in the waist area. I’m taking away a star for the discrepancy in length. I prefer these to the Aurola Dream shorts; I like the material and fit of these better.

These are awesome, I own other pairs. My issues is that these were sent to me in a smaller size than I ordered. I know this because after putting them on they felt almost a little too snug, so I put them on top of a pair I already have in medium and they were smaller than my mediums so I was sent either an XS or S when I ordered medium. Aside from this these are awesome alphalete dupes, but I didn’t get what I ordered so for that I’m disappointed.
