Black out curtains worked perfectly we couldn't even tell it was daylight out. I wanted something that would block out light completely because my husband works night shift. And I hate sleeping alone and in the light. But also hate blacking out my windows it's to depressing. So I bought a canopy bed and found these black out curtains problem solved. Lol. They are a "plastic" felling. Kinda honestly feels rather cheap made. And I definitely didn't like the "plain" look. If I'm gonna have a canopy bed I wanna feel like a princess or queen with her king. But I'm also poor lol so I can't afford really fancy thick curtains. So I got these then got a cute fluffy white see threw curtains to go ontop of it. And all works great. Truthfully if I wanted them to "look nice" these wouldn't of been Mt choice. But I was trying to find black out and most the fancy looking black curtains did not provide black out. So with blocking light being my key need for these they preformed perfectly. I do have a feeling they won't last long. The feel likena shower curtain and easy to rip just like a cheap shower curtain. But they do block light great. (Also there was not enough hooks so I hooked one every other hope then use string provided)

First off the directions included aren't even for that canopy. Use the the pics on the listing directly otherwise you will never find the 1 panel that is wider then the other 2 ( there is 4 panels in this one). I made two changes to the way they did it If your frame has knobs on it that screw in I cut into the top made an X so the fabric went over the knob, stayed in place and light didn't come in. The second change was the 1st 3 hoops overlapping with the next piece to keep the fabric from sliding. Doing that gave it a nice v outline. Without that it moves to much and does not look right. Pic is before I did the X to fit the fabric over post. 2nd pic is the panels overlapping.

I have went through soooo many bed curtains since having this type of bed.. smh Usually, they end up ruined, with rips and holes everywhere, more times than not, it's because of my 2 destructive children! Smh.. the sheer bed curtains are just way too delicate and expensive! They usually end up destroyed during the first wash regardless.. smh But these bed curtains... they are very durable! But the fabric is also super soft! My favorite part about these ones is the versatility.. you can tie them back (^like photo) -or- (my daughter's absolute favorite..) leave them down, so that you have your own tent (or fort as my daughter calls it lol)! It gives you extra privacy and also helps you fall asleep and stay asleep, by keeping any bothersome lights from affecting your sleep. This product comes with little pieces of rope to tie the curtains to the bed, but what I found ALOT easier.. was to use shower curtain hooks instead! ...It allows you to be able to open and close them so much easier than what the rope allows! And for how great the quality of this product is, the price is absolutely AWESOME! This is probably the least amount of money I have spend on bed curtains for my bed & I get the feeling that I won't be needing to purchase another one anytime soon, if ever. I definitely recommend this product! You will not be disappointed!

The do well for blacking out the light. They do feel kinda like plastic/nylon they are not cloth feeling. Also if you have high posts for your bed they are a bit short

The media could not be loaded. This Is not what I expected but it will work for now. It is like a black shower curtain that you buy from the $.99 store unfortunately. I recommend to also measure your frame, the top doesn't fit ours but I didn't measure lol. It looks ok and I made it work for now. This is a very thin layer of plastic so be aware, it's not flowing like cotton would be. A sheet would have probably been just as good. It did come quite quickly and had no delivery problems. I added a video with sound,i think, Hope this helps.
