A quarter zip pullover is my "go to" during the fall and winter months. I ordered this in black thinking the fabric would be quite a bit heavier than it is. That said, since I live in a fairly warm climate it will still work for me. It's not overly fitted, but still fits nicely without any additional bagginess. For guys who are body conscious, or a looking for something thicker, I think this will still work for you if you wear a t-shirt under the pullover. The only downside for me was the length. My standard size is large (I'm 6'2" tall/180 lbs), and while the pullover fits nicely in every other area, it's definitely 2 - 3 inches too long. I spent a few dollars to have it shortened, but otherwise pretty happy with this item. I will definitely wear it when it comes back from the tailor. ... show more

I've used this for several weeks now and I love the breathable material. The only thing I don't really love is the zippy collar, only because it's new for me and hard to get to an open position that I like. It's well made though, and I would recommend.

When I received this pullover, the first thing I noticed is how lightweight it is. Then I held it up to the light and realized just how sheer the fabric is. It is practically see-through. I would not feel comfortable wearing it without something under it since its so thin, but that defeats the purpose I ordered it for. The sizing is accurate and it appears to be well-made otherwise. The navy color is a bit darker than in my photo. The color is a nice light-med navy with a darker navy variegated stripe running through. The first thing that I noticed is that it is thinner than expected but for husband’s purpose that’s good. He will wear it hiking on hot days as we like to wear long sleeves in the summer but want cool breathability which this offers. It’s not see through unless held up to the light as in the photo. When worn, my husband loves the slightly fitted shape. He doesn’t want huge shirts but also doesn’t want any cling. He liked the neckline as the collar sits nicely when zipped all the way but also when zipped partway. Some sports shirts have floppy collars but this one is just right- comfortable and looks nice. I’m very fussy about stitching and this shirt is well constructed with nicely finished shoulders, neck, cuffs, and hem. I would definitely try a women’s version of this for riding horses in the summer. It definitely wouldn’t be good outdoors when cold, but could go under layer. ... show more

I ordered this pullover as I'm going to be going back to commuting and I needed something comfortable during the early spring cool temps, but comfortable to wear in the car. From the pictures, it looked nice...and indeed, it does look nice. The material is "polyester interlock textured knit," whatever that actually is, but I don't love the feel of it against my skin. Its kind of slick and I'm not sure it is going to be particularly absorbent. Its possible that a washing or two might take down the slick factor and make it more comfortable...if my opinion changes, I will update this review. The shirt is well made, tightly stitched and the color is solid. I can't fault the actual build of the garment, it is just the selection of the cloth, a very individual preference. I took one star off because of the feel of the material, its possible that you may like the material, in which case, the shirt would be great! ... show more

This is a very nice zip up shirt for the price point. My husband likes the color, the material, and the overall fit. It is lightweight enough to wear to the office in the summer or out and about with jeans. He is very pleased.

Fabric is very light & airy but a little thin/lightweight so is more appropriate in warmer weather. There is no tag to irritate your skin which I appreciate. Pullover fits true to size. It is stretchy and doesn't restrict arm movements when I play tennis. Highly recommend.
