This cologne is just okay overall. It has a very subtle scent that is definitely not overpowering. It’s a masculine fragrance with a classic woody, spicy profile that feels familiar and simple. One nice thing is that it contains no alcohol, which is a plus. However, the scent itself doesn’t really stand out or feel very complex. It’s pleasant but fairly typical for a cologne in this style. Also worth noting, the scent doesn’t last very long on the skin and stays quite light throughout wear. Because of that, it may not be ideal if you prefer stronger or more long-lasting fragrances. With that said, for the price it is a decent purchase, especially if you prefer lighter scents. I would still recommend trying it, since fragrance is very subjective. 4/5 stars. ... show more

There is nothing inherently wrong with this sent. My only issue is that it smells almost exactly like old spice swagger deodorant. It is uncanny per my wife. It’s not bad. It’s just not very complex and a little one dimensional.

My husband absolutely loved this scent, and he has tried a lot of colognes from designer to drugstore! To me, the scent was a bit forward when first sprayed but I felt that it settles well and the scent really lasts all day. Again, based on my own observations the amber and patchouli smell comes through a bit more than the citrus, very woody and earthy. For the size of the bottle you get for a price under $30, it’s hard to compare - especially with a quality scent like this one. The sleek bottle is a bonus so it actually looks nice on the shelf in the bathroom! Would definitely purchase again for my spouse - but with a bottle this size, it will be a while before we need to! ... show more

It's a more subtle effect than most of my other cologne, but the lightness provides a warm scent that doesn't hit you in the face. In other words, it's noticeable, but not distracting.
