I was a little hesitant to get this desk at first being that it's multiple pieces and some of the reviews said they had trouble putting it together and that it's still just a high density fiber board wrapped in a vinyl carbon fiber, but I am honestly very impressed with it's build quality and versatility of this desk after using it for a couple months now. I use it for my laptop docking set-up and I gotta say it's perfect for me in that regard. The cable management tray is great, the frame is easy to strap cable ties too and the vinyl carbon fiber is decently protective of the high density fiber board. I received this desk in awesome condition. No scratches or dings. The packaging was really good and protective which was surprising. The set-up was pretty darn easy too. I lined everything up after reading through the instructions and made a few adjustments before tightening everything down with the provided tools. This worked great for me. The close-ups on the instructions could possibly be more clear or enlarged, however, all the mounting screws line-up perfectly. There was even extra hardware included just in case which I thought was a really nice touch. One of my screws was stripped, so this was definitely a nice addition as I had plenty of extras in the box! After setting everything up I gotta say this desk is solid! There is no flex, even in the front where there is one mounting plate holding the two pieces additionally at the front. The feet have adjustable pads for uneven surfaces, however, I didn't need to make any adjustment as I have carpet so there isn't any wobble anyways. The mouse pad was rolled up out of the box, however, the one i received was very loose and pliable. Very easily rolled out onto the desk top without any warping and the material seems to be very well made and should hold up to some wear and tear over time. It is machine washable, however, I don't see myself needing to throw it in the washer do to a spill as the cup holder is neatly suspended off the side of the desk limiting possible spills from getting the desk or any of the electronics thereof from getting wet. I've already bumped into it a couple times because I'm a klutz and it's fallen on the floor both times and not my desk. I will say it is difficult to knock stuff over in the cup holder, but when it does happen it's less likely to fall towards your desk based on the way it's mounted and the profile of the cup holder which is nice. All in all, I gotta say I am 100% satisfied with this purchase. I wouldn't use this without the mouse pad do to the seams, but even if this wasn't a multi-piece desk I would still use the mouse pad anyways because it's so nice and the new design is decently minimal. Even as a multi-piece design, this desk mounts to the frame in a way that keeps all the pieces feeling sturdy and even with me trying to move the pieces individually of each other I cannot. Once everything is together and tightened down, it's as solid as one piece essentially. Very well thought out approach to savings costs and packaging. One things is the only thing keeping the back piece attached to the desk is the cable management trays mounting points, four screws on each side for rigidity, but I'm not sure how much weight I'd put on that back piece if you plan on mounting very very heavy monitors, so I think I'll opt to use two cheaper monitor arms on each side instead, though this is probably not necessary. Just makes me feel better so I thought I'd mention it. Pro's: Price! Build quality! Easy set-up! Thoughtful design. Con's: Multi-Piece design. Still high density fiberboard, however you won't find anything else at this price point that isn't! Headphone hanger is very very basic. Don't rest nice headphone bands directly on the hook as it'll probably leave an indent on the padding. I just hang mine at an angle though so it doesn't matter. I definitely recommend this desk. It's solid, easy to set-up, and simply and thoughtfully designed in my opinion. I couldn't really find anything better at this price point. I've seen similar desk with packaging issues go for a lot more. Plenty of workspace even without mounting the monitors off the desk and the mouse pad is comfortable and well made. I love this desk and will be using it for some time to come.

Holy Smokes. This is an insanely great desk. Just got a new job and needed a bigger desk for my work from home set up. I use 2 monitors with my home PC, and I am not willing to give that up. Therefore, I needed a desk that could handle 2 monitors and my laptop stand (essentially making it three monitors) This desk is just the right size for that. From the picture, you can see that it has plenty of room for what I need. The desk is also surprisingly deep. The middle portion adds quite a bit of depth, and I was not expecting that. You can see that there is quite a bit of space between the monitor stand and my keyboard in the picture, and the monitor stand is not pushed all the way back too. Cable management with this desk is also great. There are two cable holes. One on each side of the desk, which makes it much cleaner on top. There is also a "power strip holder" attached to the underside to the desk, far to the back. I hide my power strip behind my subwoofer, so I don't know how practical it is, but there are two notches on either side of the "power strip slot" which allows me to run my many cables across it. Really cleans it up the under side of the desk. Next up is the assembly. The assembly was really straight forward. It took me less than an hour to put it together, which was a pleasant surprise. They ship it with lots of extra screws, a screw driver, and a couple of allen wrenches. Again, a really nice surprise. The desk portion comes in two parts and is held together by a ridiculous amount of braces and screws, so it isn't going to fall down on you, ever. The feet are steel, which again, makes it so the desk isn't going anywhere soon. That said, it is incredibly light considering its size. Had no problem lifting it up and moving it to the wall. That is probably due to the carbon fiber looking, super thick top. The quality of the materials is also great. I didn't have to search for any screw holes, when assembling it. The mouse pad that covers the desk is also great quality. I was expecting something quite flimsy, but the pad is nice and thick. I already love this desk and I haven't even been using it for 24 hours. (I may update this review after I use it for a while) I am amazed that they can sell this great of a desk for $100. If you need/want a new desk, you should definitely get this one.
