This selfie stick and tripod with remote is a great addition for anyone who likes hiking and outdoor adventures and likes to travel light. I used to take my DSLR, a couple of GoPros and a heavy tripod with me in a photography backpack when hiking. but the iPhone 14 Pro takes such great pictures and video it's all I really need. Paired with this selfie stick, the iPhone/Atumtek setup allows me to take longer-distance selfies (due to the length of the selfie stick), use this as a tripod, allowing me to take steady landscape photos similar to my DSLR, or mount my phone in the collapsed mount and use it like a GoPro grip. I can now travel much lighter and still get great photos and videos. The remote pairs easily with my iPhone and works reliably. Since this is (thankfully) a light unit and not as heavy as a DSLR tripod it can be a bit unsteady on uneven terrain or in high winds, but I've always found a way to stabilize it so I get a great shot. I even used this setup to take some amazing stargazing pictures with no observable blur despite the "long exposure" using Live Photo with the long exposure effect. Atumtek backs up their equipment - I thought I had lost the remote and emailed support to see if I could purchase a new one. They responded quickly that they will send me a new remote at no charge! I found my remote the next day (I forgot I was charging it) and told them not to send a new remote, but I was impressed at their responsiveness and how they stood by their product.

I bought this back in August of 2022 and have enjoyed using it for pictures/videos, especially when on trips. My partner and I can be introverted so not having to ask random people for pictures is AWESOME! The tripod is super easy to use and adjust. I have the 51" tripod and find it to be a pretty good height. However, I noticed back in June of 2023 on our trip in Mexico, when I was trying to use the remote to take pictures it wasn't working, the remote wouldn't even turn off anymore or connect to my phone. I reached out to the support team on the Atumtek website and after having sent proof of purchase and images/video showing what was wrong, I got sent a new replacement remote. I just received it yesterday and now everything is working great again. My only critique is that I am not a fan of the design of where the remote sits on the tripod, it can easily come off when in a backpack or luggage, etc. and can easily be lost or dropped. So be careful when using it. I like to place the remote elsewhere to avoid losing it. Overall, I find this to be a great purchase and was happy that Atumtek kept their promise with the 1 year warranty.

I'm not a blogger so not used for internet purposes. I bought this for travel. Only used it when I didn't have a person I could ask to take a picture. But was invaluable when visiting distant family and wanted a together shot when no one was available to take it. That one shot made the price worth it. May take a few practices to be comfortable with the extend/collapse. Do that before you leave the house. It's a bit bigger/heavier (but not bad) than I would like but that's the trade off for the stability. I'm glad to have this in my tool chest. I just left it on the passenger side floor of the car so it would always be available for a quick grab.
