I installed the Attwood 1002 Lock’N-Pin 3/4” Seat Mount on a new seat and pedestal for my bass boat, and I’m extremely impressed with the quality and performance. The steel construction feels solid and durable, and the spring-loaded design adds a nice bit of cushion and shock absorption when moving around the deck. The fit is tight and secure—no wobble or play in the seat, even when leaning and shifting during casting or running at speed. The Lock’N-Pin system works exactly as advertised, making the seat easy to remove when needed but locked down solid when in place. Installation was quick and hassle-free, and the 2-3/4” steel base paired perfectly with my pedestal. It’s a noticeable upgrade from the standard mounts and really improves the overall feel of my setup. If you’re looking for a reliable, heavy-duty seat mount for your boat, this is a fantastic choice. Functioned and fit just as was expected. Paint seams thick so should be durable. Spring is very taunt. No mounting screws are included. Easy to install on bottom of boat seat. Lo9ks good on the boat.
