  • Sturdy stand for larger sized keyboards.
The assembly of the stand was a little frustrating. You need to make sure you have the legs in the correct orientation, and each one needs to be on a specific side of each other. The manual didnt do a great job of illustrating this, and I had to reassemble it a couple times until I figured it out. Despite this, it's a great stand that doesn't wobble and comes with a fastner that can connect to some keyboards to secure them to the stand. Works great live, you would really need some force to get it to fall over. I originally got this because I plan to buy an 88-key weighted MIDI controller, but in the meantime, Ive been able to use this with my smaller 3 octave Minilogue XD synthesizer at band practice if I prop it up to the highest level. This is significantly smaller than the minimum 55 key size this stand is rated for, but until I can buy another smaller stand this works. Granted, it is much less stable this high up and barely resting on the stand, but in a pinch it is possible your under-55 key sized keyboard will fit. ... show more

  • Sturdy and Versatile Keyboard Stand
Pros: 🎶 Sturdy Build: This keyboard stand is impressively sturdy and can easily support my 88-key piano without any wobbling or instability. 🎶 Adjustable Height: The adjustable height feature is fantastic, allowing me to find the perfect playing position whether I'm sitting or standing. 🎶 Locking Straps: The locking straps provide an added layer of security, ensuring my keyboard stays in place during even the most energetic performances. 🎶 Easy to Set Up: Setting up this stand was a breeze, and I appreciate that it comes with clear instructions. 🎶 Wide Compatibility: It comfortably accommodates my 88-key piano, but I've also used it with smaller keyboards, making it versatile for different instruments. Cons: 🎶 Bulky When Folded: While the double-X design is great for stability, it does make the stand a bit bulkier when folded for transport or storage. I'm quite pleased with this keyboard stand. It's sturdy, adjustable, and the locking straps provide peace of mind during performances. While it's a bit bulkier when folded, the pros far outweigh this minor inconvenience. Overall, it's a reliable choice for musicians seeking a versatile and dependable keyboard stand. 🎹🎵👍🎶🔒 ... show more

  • Better for “standing” play, not super adjustable, but a good value & easy to transport.
This Keyboard stand is great for what it is, and excellent for the price, but it does have a few quirks to be aware of. First, the X-frame design, with two supports on each side, is pretty stable. However, because it’s an X-frame design, it’s difficult to sit and play the keyboard. The X-frame doesn’t leave room for your legs. This is much better for playing the keyboard while standing. It’s fairly light weight, and if you have the right size gig bag, it easily folds up to fit in a gig bag. The adjustment range easily gets tall enough to play while standing, but the adjustment positions are each several inches apart, so you can’t fine-tune the height at all. But, one of the positions is the exact correct height for seated play (if there was room for your legs). Also, the instructions are extremely minimal, and it’s more of a figure-it-out-yourself assembly. There are two little straps included which screw into the bottom of the keyboard, to keep it sort-of attached to the stand. Apparently these are standard size screws, but for my keyboard, the straps are too short to reach. Overall, I’m going to give this 4 stars, for being a good value-range standing keyboard stand. ... show more

  • Very easy to use, lightweight keyboard stand
Everything with this keyboard stand works well. The notched system with springs works well and is much better than just the stands where you just tighten a knob or tighten with some teeth for preventing slippage. The feet are soft rubber and so it protects the floor and keyboard and are flattened on one side for stability. This is fairly lightweight keyboard stand. The stand is made of hollow metal tubes. My old keyboard stand I have is so heavy that it takes some careful effort to move and set it up. This one is much light weight and easy to move around. There is a little play in the stand after it is notched in but after putting the keyboard on it, it didn't wobble. Setting up involves screwing 4 long screws with hex ends. The included tool works well enough for the purposes. The points where the feet and arms go are sharp and I would advice to be careful that it doesn't scratch your desk or floor. I ended up scratching up the feet a little bit trying to figure out where all the pieces were supposed to go. Overall, this is a good stand. It is very good for setting up quickly and putting away or for traveling. ... show more

  • Reasonable price for a good stand
I'm always amazed at how much keyboard stands cost. This one is more reasonable. It matches the tried-and-true X-brace design, with a spring loaded pin and hole height adjuster in the center of one of the legs. Rubber feet so it doesn't scratch floors and keyboard bottoms. It has a bit of play without any weight on it, but as soon as a keyboard is on top it's solid. It comes mostly disassembled. The directions aren't very good, but it's easy to put together anyway. ... show more

  • Pain in the backside.
I found this to be a pain in the butt to put together. Why is something so simple such a pain? Doesn’t go down low, just high for standing. The directions are absolutely worthless, just toss them and put on a blindfold and you might be better off.
