I bought two of these think that for the price I would only be getting a little so I would need two but no this is an amazing deal. I was able to use this ribbon on five big boxes and still had left over. On top of that the quality is amazing would totally buy again.

The ribbon measures 1.5" wide as advertised. It has a nice weight to it and make knots and bows that hold their shape. I would describe Antique Gold as a white gold with a milky-coppery sheen. I used it in a Scandi-inspired scheme, but imagine it would look scintillate against a deep holiday blue or eggplant. I've wrapped presents with the full width and cut in 0.5" wide strips to finish off some ball ornaments I made. As long as you use the ribbon full width, it shouldn't fray on you, as the outer edges are nice and sealed. But if you cut the ribbon into strips, creating an exposed edge, the satin weave will fray and you will need to reseal the edges using acetone or the residual heat from a candle (be careful!). One star off for packaging, since for such nice ribbon, it comes on a styrofoam round rather than a proper spool. ... show more

Really love this stuff, the color is nice and it looks classy. Last Christmas we had garland on the bannisters. I used the Velcro brand tape that’s supposed to be used for staking plants outside (it was cheaper), to hold the garland in place by letting it go around 1 1/2 times. Then I covered it by using about a three foot piece of this ribbon. Instead of doing a bow I just tied a Windsor knot and added a little botanical gift topper. It looked great! ... show more
