Great compression shorts for the money. Fitted, compression fit but not overly constricting. Material is secure but does allow for good amount of stretch. Not the EXACT same quality as much more expensive brands, it is very comparable to other house, and even some other major brands that offer similar compression products. I was worried about fit after reading comments, but ordered my normal size and they fit just as I hoped, I am about 5'9" 200ish lbs with 32/33 wait (I would like to say "athletic" build), and the medium is perfect. I do run, so my legs are probably my fittest part, and they fit just fine, from waist, through legs. No rubbing/chaffing, doesn't ride up, and wicks pretty well. Length is a little long, but should be expected to support the pockets (which I was surprised by having a pocket on each leg, though it was only one leg!). I would say maybe a 7" inseam. Definitely meant to be UNDER shorts... not at all designed to be worn alone. Totally worth it for me, I am really liking not only these shorts, but the Athlio compression stuff altogether; great value for what you get. ... show more

These are as good as the other top brand for underwear/compression shorts. I am 255lbs, 5'8" and bought the 2xl. They fit very well. I use these for working around the yard and for regular underwear to go to work. I bought 3 of these for $20 whereas the other brand is 2 for $35. I have already bought more of these. The SMALL fits me great (170LBS, 6FT, 10% body-fat) but these black compression shorts are very THIN and see-through and are most definitely as proclaimed by our beloved sports merchant...to be worn as a baselayer. Noticed a chemical smell but within acceptable standards specially after hand-washing. So, these compression shorts are a SATISFACTORY product..but for the price...I will be BUYING MORE. My husband likes these and he said they don't ride up. They are a good, true fit. Not too tight. They seems to wick moisture well. They are a good length also, keep him covered but don't show beyond his workout shorts.
