Usual Size: 7 Size Ordered: 7 Runs Large, maybe a full size. Recommend sizing down. These are really nice boots and look like they would be at least twice the price! I received them wrapped individually in a bag with the shaft folded over, no box. The material is a nice thick faux leather, that looks like leather. They are very tall, so if you're on the short side, do some measuring before purchasing. I measured and at 5'3" they fit with the sides of the boot coming up to where my knee bends. But since the front of the boot dips down in front of the knee, they still work and won't impede your walking. I always wear a size 7, but these boots feel like they are a size 8. So I wouldn't advise sizing up to accommodate thick socks. I put on my thickest winter socks that don't fit into any of my shoes or boots, they are strictly for wearing around the house, and they still fit with plenty of room to spare. I may be able to wear these socks with these boots to make them work. Any other socks on my feet and they would be slipping around. Also, I don't have thick legs, but think these would be great for someone who does! Since the circumference of the shaft is larger all the way up, it accommodates for thicker legs and leaves plenty of space up top by the knee as well. I think these will work great over jeans! They are very sleek and give an elongated look, and feel comfortable to walk in so far. I will update you with any issues if they arise. ... show more

I actually bought these boots to wear to the barn. I use to have riding boots and stopped riding years ago. Since relocating where there are a lot of stables, I thought I would purchase a pair of boots instead of wearing sneakers to the stable which picked up all the mud etc. These boots came in nice packaging where each boot was separately packed. I ordered the black but wish I ordered the tan. The black does not show the stitching very well, black on black. The fit is true to size. Although the material is not real leather, they look real. The sole is of a decent rubber and the block heel makes it easy to walk. Since I have foot issues, I believe I can wear these but not for a long length of time. These are nice fashionable cowboy boots, but if you are looking for authentic cowboy boots, these won't quite fit the bill. They are a solid color, with one color embroidery and no layering of any more materials. The toe is nice, and the heel is solid rubber. If you're looking for boots that are fashionable that fit the cowboy look or want boots to go over leggings or jeans, these will definitely work! I had one issue with one boot though. Immediately as I put them on, I could feel the pin/nail in the heel of the left boot. I was disappointed, thinking there is no way I can wear these with it sticking into my heel. Luckily I had a pair of heel inserts, and I put those inside both of the boots and problem solved. I have to assume it was just a default of this particular pair and not all the boots made, but If I needed them fast and couldn't wear them, I would have been disappointed. I plan to keep them, and just keep the heel inserts inside and then I don't have to worry about it! Overall a nice cowboy boot, but not the high end authentic pairs they sell out west! ... show more

These boots are cute but a big around the ankle and calfs making them bunch up a bit. The soles are not comfortable but I put my own inserts in and they feel much better. The white material does look a bit cheap but the quality is great. The height is perfect and the stitching design in the boots look great ... show more

Lovely and soft, these boots have a nice chunky heel. They look stylish and would go with almost any outfit. They are a deep black and although they are polyurethane they look a lot like real leather. They don't, however, look anything like cowboy boots.
