I have never owned a pair of shoes with the hidden wedge and when I saw these, at a great price, I purchased them. I have had these for a couple months and wear them a lot. I love the height, the worn look of the leather and mostly the comfort! I have gone in boutiques and just walking in and out of stores and have had so many compliments on them. All I tell them is thank you and they are very comfortable. I’ve even shown them the Amazon site where I purchased them. They are very stylish at any age. I’m 5’0 and 50+. I’m at the age where comfort is most important but I still love to be stylish. These hit both. The best part…have I mentioned comfortable, great quality and slip resistant bottom and I have to be elevated with me being short! I highly recommend. They are true to size, easy to slip on and great color.

These boots are adorable and go with almost anything. They match my MK bag perfectly and are pretty comfy. The only issues I have with them are: (1) when I wear certain socks with any type of thickness, my right foot feels a little crowded in the toe box area (I don’t know if it’s the shape of the boot that’s a bit off, or if my right foot is just shaped weird unbeknownst to me); and (2) there’s slight (normal) darkening at the top of the outer toe box area, which is pretty common with light-colored leather boots I’d definitely recommend, especially if you can get them on sale (I paid $40 I think, and I’m cool with that). My plan is to spray with leather/suede protector to help combat the yucky weather we’ve been having; I will update my review if anything of import should happen after I treat them).

I ordered a pair for me and one for my twin sister. I was pleased when I looked at them when they arrived, I was even more pleased when my twin wore them with tights, a puffer skirt and pullover sweater from Boot Barn...they truly looked like the high-end BRAND name booties! I haven't worn mine yet, my sis told me they were comfortable right out of the box, wide enough, as we both retain water in our feet and ankles due to a hereditary condition for woman in our fam. We both wear a size 9, ordered a size 9! I am finding that Athlefit is a great fashionable shoe/bootie company and has great prices!

Ok ladies buy now!!! The fit is true to size but let me say if you plan to wear a thick sock size up. I’m 5’4 and my husband is 6’2 so I’m always looking for some height. However now that I’m 52 I don’t want to be in heels or uncomfortable platforms all day! I couldn’t believe the platform in these boots that feel like there isn’t one. I’m absolutely in love!! I don’t leave reviews unless I’m completely impressed and I am…they look amazing, feel amazing, and I look taller without feeling like I’m in a heel…so comfortable…Love..Love..Love…I will be buying them in other colors. I got the gray and they look amazing with leggings and that new trend of shirt jackets…or whatever the abbreviation is. Don’t second guess them…I got a great sale and I’m sure you’ll see it Black Friday again. I promise you’ll love them! Update I cooked for 27 people for Thanksgiving-so I put the boots to the test! After 18 hours on my feet - I was still comfortable- and I got many compliments.

These are cute, ok quality (you get what you pay for), and comfortable. I would say they run a half size big. But my biggest qualm, and why I may return them, is that the weathered, shaded coloring shown on Amazon and on the model is not accurate. It makes it look cheaper.

Once these were worn a few days/softened up, I absolutely love them. As a teacher on my feet al day, they are so comfortable - just as wearable as a flat! I will say that I wore them with a low sock the first day and the upper edge rubbed and rubbed to the point of breaking skin. Ouch! I would recommend wearing them the first few times with a taller sock to “break them in” and soften that edge, then they are fantastic after that!
