At first glance, I was very excited to try on these boots. I normally wear an 8 1/2 or 9 and based off of other reviews, I decided to size down to an 8. They are still pretty big, but nothing thicker socks won’t help. However upon closer inspection, I did have some quality concerns. The stitching isn’t the best. Other reviewers posted straight up terrible stitching on theirs, but mine are just…a little sloppy. The inside pad of the right boot however is completely glued off center in the toe box. So I can feel a gap where the padding and the side of the shoe don’t meet every time I walk. I’m not sure if that would start to hurt after a little while or if the thicker socks would come in handy again. My last concern (that of course i didn’t read until AFTER purchasing lol) is the amount of reviewers that had their boots completely fall apart after a month or so. For over $50, I’m really not a fan of seeing that. Not sure I want to take the chance. If you don’t care about Longterm wear and make sure to size down, these boots really are an adorable Sam Edelman Laguna dupe.

After wearing these boots severl days a week at work (on my feet 8hr) for 2 month now can honnestly say they are very comfortable and have broken in nicely. They are definitely real leather at a great price. A very good Sam Edleman dupe. There has been a little color wearing off on the toe but I hear this happens to the Sam Edleman too. My only complaint is the size. I normally wear a 6 and origionally bought a 6.5 so I would have room for thick socks but they were huge. I exchanged for a 5.5 and they fit perfectly and still plenty of room for a thick sock. So definitely size down! Otherwise, you need these boots!!!

Overall I’m super happy with the purchase. The only downside is they are a bit large but some chunky socks fixed that and they’re easy to slide in and out of but feel extremely durable. I am careful when bending down or squatting not to bend or crease the toe box.

Trust the other reviews. These run large. I bought my normal size and they were too big. I exchanged for 1/2 size down. They fit comfortably with thick socks but not with thin socks. Otherwise they are cute.
