Nice and lightweight. Definitely not made of leather so hopefully they’ll still be able to break in. Right now they are too narrow and my toes don’t have their usual amount of wiggle room (most all my other shoes and sandals are US 11 or EU 44, and my flat, heat resistant soled work boots are from Red Wing and are a comfy size US 10.5). Also hoping the heel counter will stretch out - it’s too straight and shallow and doesn’t fit my heel, so it feels like the boot will pull off. For reference, in addition to my well fitting leather Red Wing boots, my daily wear shoes are an ASICS running shoe. My feet like to breathe so they have a rotating array of sandals by Teva, Columbia and Keen (open toe design, not their signature covered toe). My hunch is that the maker used a different, smaller reference foot than US based designers and companies that have a long presence in the US market like adidas, Onitsuka/Asics and New Balance. One last note - pretty sure my feet are fairly average. Not too terribly wide nor narrow, with a relatively neutral arch, and I’ve never had issues finding shoes that fit comfortably in my adult life. Used to wear a lot of Brooks shoes training for track and cross country and typically raced in Nike spikes or flats. Had several pairs of casual and dress shoes from Ecco. All fit well. If they loosen up, fall apart, crack or maybe even soldier on for years of service, I’ll check back in with an update. As it stands, the maker should consider adding 1/2 sizes and some width options.

For context: I'm generally a 10.5 (wide, when available) in US men's sizing. These are true to size and fit me decently in the heel and lengthwise, but were a bit snug and will take some breaking in. This is a mart looking boots that dresses up and down well. They are, however, not chukka style, nor suitable for hiking (or trade work), both of which seem to be used in the description to ensure they come up in searches more often. I appreciate the knit cuff makes it possible to wear these with lower socks more comfortably. The laces are well-matched, and the overall impression is "functional minimalism." The molded stitching cheapens them a bit, but is expected at this price point. Wearing them for a day of mixed use, I found them quite comfortable. I wouldn't pick them for a hot day, and I absolutely would not wear them hiking, but I expect they'll work their way into my rotation, going well with my earthtone-heavy wardrobe. As a fashion boot for 35 bucks, they nailed it; but the inaccurate description knocks off a star.

These are a nice pair of hiking boots that are great to wear everyday or for work. They get relatively good traction even on smooth surfaces, too. They don't hurt to wear even after a long day, though they're not really made for someone with wide feet so you'll either have to stretch the boot out or look elsewhere. So far the boots are pretty strong as they've withstood some relatively heavy beatings at my job and still look good. They've also got semi-thick padding near the ankles so you don't get sore if you have to bend your foot a lot.

These boots are nice but let me start off by saying they are not work boots. I have worked in the trades for years and worn a lot of work boots. These are not work boots and won't hold up to that type of environment. What they are - stylish boots for casual wear A pretty flat profile with low arch support They fit true to size but they have a narrow toe box. They feel like suede or something along those lines. Personally they have a "softer" style than what I typically wear. They also are not a super cushy thick insole and my feet felt fine while wearing them but were tender afterwards (like I had been walking barefoot most of the day on hard floors which hurts my feet.) What they are not - work boots. They have no steel or composite toe, they have no electrical rating, no puncture rating, and the slip resistance is meh at best. If you like the style of them, buy them. If you want work boots look elsewhere.

I like the soft suede fabric, although the downside is that it can get easily scuffed. Looks good as it can be mixed and matched with jeans or joggers. Didn't have to add an extra shoe sole.

Overall, I'm quite happy with these boots, especially for the price. They are a great-looking pair of boots for everyday, casual wear. The first thing I noticed was the color—it's fantastic and looks even better in person. They have a stylish look that works well with jeans or chinos. The construction is decently solid for a fashion boot; they feel like they'll hold up well to regular use. In terms of comfort, they're pretty good. I can wear them for a full day of walking around town or at the office without any major issues. However, I wouldn't mistake these for work boots. The materials and construction are definitely not designed for a dirty or heavy work environment. They're not something I'd wear for yard work, on a construction site, or anywhere they might take a serious beating. They are built for style, not for rugged utility.
