As others have mentioned in their reviews, you need to understand percale vs. just a cotton thread count. These sheets are crisp and cool. Great for hot Texas nights. They wrinkle easily and initially are not super soft. However, they soften with each wash. These are a nice quality percale. I am enjoying using them. Would recommend if you’re a fan of percale.

These 100% cotton Percale sheets are perfect for anyone needing comfortable sheets that are crisp and lightweight and breathable. If you have sensory issues these sheets are perfect, they do not cling. The color I have, steel blue, is so bright it's more like a lovely turquoise blue. I would give them five stars but the sheets arrived smelling awful inside the sealed plastic wrapping, and I had to run them through the washing machine four times to get the odor out. Then they became perfect!

The media could not be loaded. I have yet to sleep on it but so far it’s all I hoped it would be. The color is vibrant, the pockets are super deep, and the fabric itself is lightweight, breathable, yet strong. For those of you who are new to the world of cotton sheets they have a new feeling similar to linen, specifically in the way that they start out feeling rough and stiff, however, don’t let that deter you because these sheets soften and wear beautifully overtime. In about a month or so of sleeping on these sheets they’ll be so buttery, soft, and will last me years so doubt. Update: it was my first night sleeping on them and I might have underestimated how deep the pockets really are (which is a fault of my own and not the sheets/company). My mattress and topper aren’t too tall overall so the sheets couldn’t get a nice tight grip, instead the fabric sort of pooled onto the top of my bed. These sheets are still fantastic so I’ll certainly keep them for a future date!

I have to laugh, because when I look for sheets online, I always look at the reviews. I go straight to the 1 star reviews and those that say “these sheets are rough! These sheets are wrinkled! These sheets are like newspaper” those are exactly the sheets that I want. These didn’t disappoint at all. These are all of the above and more! I ordered the mustard color and they are very rich and vibrant. So comfy, so nice.

I bought these sheets for the color, and especially because they were a percale weave. Percale has always been terrific material for quality bed sheets. This isn't the percale I have known and used. Using these sheets was tantamount to sleeping on colored newspaper. Awful....awful. They came out of the dryer so wrinkly that there was no way for them to look good when using them again. I thought perhaps it was just the first wash/dry. Wrong again. These sheets literally have no redeeming qualities. Fortunately, I had other sheets with which I alternated these. I dreaded each time I had to use them. Cheap quality, cheap workmanship, and an embarrassment if anyone else had to sleep on them. This last time I washed them, they (again), bunched up in the washer (as mentioned, they are stiff as boards) so many times, that I finally gave up trying to balance them in the washer, grabbed a contractor's bag, threw them in wet, and danced out to my garbage can to get them out of my house. Sleeping on no sheets at all is better than using these disasters. One star is too good a rating. Avoid at all costs!

Most people look for softness - but I think softness takes away the fresh cool and crisp feel of the Percale freshness, once you get use to that freshness, you will not want to sleep any place else, be sure to get the Percale 400 thread count by ATELIER while they are on sale.

A friend suggested 100% cotton percale weave for both my nightsweats AND my dog’s wiry fur. Microfiber “cooling” sheets were no match for Alabama summer nights. My pup’s fur wouldn’t wash out of the microfiber sheets. This sheet is fantastic! The crinkly & crisp feel against my skin keeps me cool most of the night. It washes easily, dries quickly, and retains a fraction of the dog fur that other sheets do. After switching to percale, though, I understand why some people iron their sheets. Highly recommended.

Ordered a sheet to try before I buy more. Arrived yesterday and when I opened the package it stunk bad. Bad enough the dogs would not stay in the same room with it. I let it air a few hours then washed it and the stink is mostly gone. Next wash should get rid of it totally. Now the good part, feels just like the Wamsutta Percale sheets that were discontinued before I could buy enough. Cool and crisp. I sleep so good on them. I will be buying more. Just wish they made a burgundy. Forgot to mention, I ordered Beige but received something that looks like brown mustard color. I can live with it but next time I will watch closer and return if it is that far off.
