I've used this for gaming, schoolwork and watching movies and it all works great. I love how the monitor is able to tilt all ways and is height adjustable. The monitor itself needs to be color calibrated because it looks bad out of the box (Google how to change the color profiles online it was easy for a noob like me ) but after that I found it to be great! The bezels are super thin and this monitor looks sleek despite it being a gaming monitor. I reccomend it especially if it goes on sale!

Pros: - as expected 144Hz is buttery smooth - ghosting is very minimum - response time is great and you can tell instantly - the stand is outstanding. very high quality and gives you full control - tilt, swing, rotate, height adjustment - G-sync compatible - look quite good Cons: - being an IPS panel, photo quality should have been a bit better. requires color adjustments out of the box as well - built-in speakers are terrible

Great panel quality, minimal back light bleed and IPS glow on right side, not visible at all in pitch black room with very bright settings in normal use. Left side of panel has no glow or bleed. Very acceptable levels, IMO. Seems to be very lag free in the UFO test and in League of Legends. I can't see any blur in either, very responsive panel. The default racing mode seems to look the best out of all the options. I'd try that mode and set the brightness to 21 for a pitch black room, and raise it up to about 30 or so for a room with 1 lightbulb in it. SRGB mode looks good but the brightness is locked to 50 or so and it's too bright. There are a couple with a bright over-saturated look, and a few darker settings for cinema and FPS. All the modes look decent. Smoothest IPS panel I've ever looked at, Highly recommend.

This monitor is exceptional for gaming. The image is bright and colorful and the 144hz refresh rate is really great. The stand is built like a tank and it allows you to rotate tilt and lift the monitor. The stand is also really easy to put on and looks great. The one problem I have with this monitor which isn't really significant at all is that the speakers are terrible and extremely quite. While I doubt that anybody buying a monitor of this price will be using it without headphones or external speakers, it would have been nice to have loud enough speakers for the odd times when I do have to use them because I don't want to wear headphones.

To be fair I am coming off of a super crappy old free monitor, but this monitor is amazing! Honestly out of the box it was a little too bright for me, but I was able to adjust it. The menu is a little difficult to access, but that hardly matters as I don't need it often. The colors are fantastic, not over saturated or washed out. Just in general I love this monitor!

This monitor is gorgeous, has a fantastic little joystick on the back that makes browsing the menus effortless, the stand moves in all sorts of useful ways and feels very premium. The colors and matte finish on the panel are outstanding. Just don't get 1080p. I had never had a monitor above 1080p, so I didn't think I wanted one higher, until this one came. 1080p on a 24 in. monitor doesn't look great. If I could get this monitor in 1440p I would, but they're all out of stock unfortunately.

I was doing this A TON of reviewing before buying a monitor and finally deciding on this one. To address some other reviews with the bad image quality right out of the box or dead pixels...I don’t have any of that. I think this thing looks perfect right out of the box! I do see I’ll be changing settings depending on the game I’m playing. I do see what some reviewers describe as a glossy or smudged screen look? I guess if you have a window shining on it you’ll notice it more. I honestly don’t have a problem with it unless you really look for it and stare at it. So it’s not as bad as others claim! Games look great on it, G sync compatibility is awesome and the best part it comes with two cables hdmi and display port! Honestly if you were like me Deciding between this and any other monitor, get this!! It’s honestly a bigger screen than most of the other monitors in the 24” series and despite what people say it’s perfect right out of the box!
