I’ve been using this ASUS TUF 27” QHD monitor for a bit now, mainly for PC gaming and general desktop work, and it’s been an excellent upgrade from a standard 1080p display. The 2560×1440 resolution at 27 inches hits a really nice sweet spot—everything looks sharp without needing UI scaling, and text is much clearer than 1080p. Gaming is where it really shines though. The 180Hz refresh rate makes motion feel very smooth, especially in fast-paced games, and input feels responsive. Colors look vibrant right out of the box, and the IPS panel has good viewing angles. The stand is sturdy and adjustable, which I appreciate, and setup was straightforward. It also works well with adaptive sync, so I haven’t noticed screen tearing during gameplay. I chose this monitor for my latest build due to it good color accuracy and picture quality as well as lower price. All reports indicate it is reliable. Some reviewers criticize the buttons and controls, but I found them intuitive and easy to use. I didn't really want audio capability in a monitor, but since I rarely use external audio anyway (headphones), it seemed like an acceptable trade-off compared to a more complicated external speaker setup. I bought this monitor to upgrade from another ASUS display that I bought 9 years ago (ASUS MX259H 25") which is still alive and kicking. First off the picture quality seems excellent. It has the low blue-light features that I need for work, and for gaming the response times are great, as is the picture quality (after a few adjustments). The step up from 1080p to 1440p is extremely noticeable. I've had no dead pixels, and noticed no light bleed. There is slight IPS glow (which is normal) but it is some of the least noticeable I've seen on any IPS display I've owned. Brightness maxes out at 250 nits, which may not be bright enough for a true HDR experience, but it's otherwise plenty in my opinion. I use this in a room with a lot of sunlight and have no issues. I'm pretty thrilled with the image quality. I used the VESA mounting holes to put this on a stand and had no issues whatsoever on that front. They were easily accessible. My main knocks on this display are that the stand lacks much in the way of adjustability (if you plan on using the included stand) and the OSD (on-screen display) for changing settings is a bit cumbersome. Everything is controlled by 4 buttons and a small joystick on the back of the right side of the monitor. It works well enough, but everything takes longer than it would if there were labeled buttons on the front of the screen, or even just some menu shortcuts. For example, what should be simple tasks like changing the speaker volume or switching HDMI inputs take clicking around far more in the menus than they should. That's all that keeps this from being a 5-star display for me. I got this on sale but even if I paid MSRP this would be a great display for the price. ... show more

Beautiful display!!! So many built-in function options in the GamePlus menu such as FPS Counter, Crosshair, and even a Display Alignment setting to adjust corner to corner offset in case it seems off a bit but upon playing around with it it is already set nicely by default. The 1440p resolution is so crisp, also has very vibrant colors, and the true blacks in-game is really good! The default brightness was a bit high but I changed that withing the Windows 11 display settings. Very impressive performance coming from the 180Hz refresh rate blew me away! The 27" screen was perfect for my small corner desk setup. Set up was a breeze with the DP cable that was included in the box and simple to attach the stand. I really like the futuristic and rugged look of the line of TUF Gaming products and matches well with the other PC parts I combined such as the Motherboard, GPU, Mouse, Keyboard, Mouse pad, and cooling fans on my system.
