I have been able to see quite a few different monitors and I will say this one wont be a regret. You cannot notice any difference between this and a 540hz TN in competitive games when it comes to smoothness. I also had the chance to see this next to its big brother with a glossy panel and while its turned on the colors on the glossy are slightly better but it took me 10 minutes side by side to notice any difference. If you want to spend a little more on glossy and the newer model that doesn't need DSC you can but you really do not need it its a minimal gain. Now the monitor itself is fantastic and the OSD is fine for me but the pc app is slow. If you are questioning if OLED is worth it though.... 10000% there has been no bigger upgrade in gaming for me in the last 10 years. Colors feel so real, darks are dark and 0 ghosting. This 38" 4K Asus monitor offers a lot to love when it comes to functionality and performance. Designed for work, gaming, and creative needs, it offers an array of features to elevate your digital experience. Readability is a standout feature; the clarity of text is remarkable. If spreadsheets and articles are part of your daily grind, your eyes will be in for a treat. Color accuracy is another high point. Creative professionals and color aficionados will find that this monitor meets their expectations. A word about screen size and distance: At 38 inches, it is best viewed from 2-3 feet away (approximately 60-90 cm). This is about the largest screen that's comfortably usable at 4K resolution. The IPS panel does show some minor corner glow on darker scenes, but this is unlikely to interfere with your day-to-day activities. As for HDR, it's more of a checkbox feature. While it's there and technically functions, don't expect it to be the star of the show. Consider it a "nice-to-have" rather than a game-changer. Where compatibility is concerned, the 16:9 aspect ratio with 4K resolution is spot-on. Need to downscale to 1080p for graphically demanding games? No problem—everything scales smoothly, sans glitches. For gamers, the Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) options are a boon. Incredible monitor. Purchased in November of '24. Still going strong. Gorgeous colors, and incredible contrast. Text looks great. I've used it for around 13 hours per day and haven't experienced any burn-in issues. A WOLED panel is absolutely recommended to uplevel video game experiences.

Horrible white uniformity, left half is magenta and right half is green. My 10 year old IPS had better uniformity. OSD is VERY buggy and half the settings dont work even after multiple firmware updates (check the firmware update change list they acknowledge the bugs as fixed and are still not. OLED Anti Flicker wont work at all no matter what combination used, support could not help me either. DSC causes the display to disconnect anytime I enter display settings in Windows settings or close a full screen window. Pixel cleaning would run for 6 hours straight and when I turned my monitor it would report failed when its supposed to only run for a few minutes. Factory calibration was off and not as the card included states. Has dark crushing from RGB 1,1,1 ~ 4,4,4 unless you run it at 1.8 gamma and then calibrate from that. But then you end up with massive SRGB color loss of only 78% SRGB instead of 99%. Matte coating makes everything look like a smeary grainy mess on gray colors. Text looked good with MacType DeepGrayNoHinting enabled and Windows ClearType disabled. This will be my first and last Matte OLED DSC monitor. ... show more

Extremely top of the line quality, fit on the wall mount I already had installed. VRR gives a lot of trouble on display port. The USB ports can be set to turn off when monitor goes on standby. Saved me from having to unplug my stupid rgb speakers because they turn off automatically.

Después de 3 meses de uso, puedo decir que esta ha sido una de las mejores compras que he hecho en los últimos años. La pantalla se ve increíble y superó ampliamente mis expectativas. Siempre pensé que la calidad de imagen dependía principalmente de la configuración y de la tarjeta de video, pero este monitor me demostró lo contrario (para mejor). La diferencia en colores y calidad visual es tan grande que la sensación fue casi como haber cambiado de tarjeta gráfica. Lo que realmente me sorprendió no fueron los 2K, los 480 Hz, el RGB, el bisel delgado o la excelente calidad de construcción. Lo que marca la diferencia son los colores. Tengo un ASUS ROG de 17 pulgadas con pantalla 2K y, aunque es un buen equipo, los colores no se comparan con los de este ASUS ROG PG27AQDP. Valió totalmente la pena pagar un poco más frente a las versiones ROG de 2022 y 2023. Este modelo fue lanzado en septiembre de 2024 y lo compré en marzo de 2026, por lo que considero que fue una excelente compra. En estos 3 meses no he tenido ningún problema de conectividad ni de software. Todo ha funcionado perfectamente. Como único detalle, el modo MOBA no funciona con todos los juegos. En mi caso no funciona con Heroes of the Storm (HOTS), ya que está pensado para títulos específicos como League of Legends o Dota.
