After spending some time trying to decide upon a replacement monitor for my old one, I finally decided upon this one, fearing I would not be happy with inferior quality of other cheaper options I have read about. The Asus ProArt PA34VCNV is probably more screen real estate than I need, but figured why not. Better too much than regret buying a smaller one. The quality of the display is excellent. I am not a professional designer, photographer, etc. But I know my picky critical nature and would have been bothered by a poor experience. I am pleasantly surprised to report no detectable dead pixels on this very large panel. One moderate complaint, as others have reported, the USB-C port doesn’t work ideally on my MacBook Pro because after sleeping, the monitor is not awoken and has to be powered off and on. Consequently, I had to use HDMI instead. No big deal for my purposes. One very minor thing to report is there was no warranty card included (as reportedly was supposed to). I was able to register online. But for some reason the warranty start/end dates were wrong. The purchase was 2/5/2024, but the warranty range spanned from the prior year to 2026. However, after contacting customer support, the issue was resolved. We'll see what the future brings; I will update this review if anything changes... Update (Mar 27, 2024): apparently one of the recent Mac OS updates fixed the USB-C issue. After installing Sonoma 14.4.1 I gave it another test and now the machine and monitor successfully wake from sleep mode. ... show more

I just got this monitor, AMAZON CONFIRMS that is not an OPEN BOX even if the Box did arrive with the Original Tape Broken and the inside Items misplaced. Other than that, the Monitor is excellent, definition is awesome and the size its just perfect. I now have the same experience Remote than in the office. In the office we use Lenovo 34W monitors, I can assure that ASUS is much nicer, not just in looks but is definition and Power. I decided for this monitor due to the capability of Powering my notebook and manage several monitors through USB-c single connections to the notebook. ... show more

The display came very well packaged, easy to assemble, immediately started up and connected to M3 MacBook Pro with the included USB cable. Color quality and accuracy seems good, slightly warmer tone than the default colors on my MacBook Pro display but that could simply indicate my MacBook display's default is a cooler color temp. This is not a 4k display and you can notice that, but it's not a massive difference for day-to-day home/office use. I appreciate the clean design aesthetic of the overall hardware and stand. Shortcomings: No height adjustment with the stand,. the built-in 'speaker' is horrendous and completely useless, no built-in camera. I can understand not integrating a camera but the worthless speaker is inexcusable for this price point. ... show more

Having to edit my review because the first was rejected. They said that I focused too much on the seller and that would not be helpful to other people. Here is my original review: "I purchased the 'certified refurbished' version from Amaz** and it arrived missing the back panel piece such that you could not install the monitor at all. I had to repackage the whole thing and return. HUGE hassle would definitely not recommend purchasing. I ended up buying a different monitor after the experience that I like much better and didn't have the same 'certified refurbished' issues with. The monitor also ended up being quite clunky- too big at the back and took up more space than it was worth. Go with cheaper option." Here is some more information about the monitor so that hopefully my review will be 'relevant to all customers'. The monitor that I received seemed quite large and had the curved shape as expected. The back was larger and more 'clunky' than I expected it to be, and much more so than other non-curved monitors I have seen. The monitor was heavy and it was difficult to move around on my own. I do not know how the monitor would look on a desk or how sturdy it would be because I was unable to install it due to problems with the back panel piece. I did turn the monitor on briefly (laying on my desk because I could not mount it) and the picture quality was fine but honestly not so much better than other monitors in their range. There is some ability to move and adjust the monitor (if you are able to instal it) which I can imagine would be helpful. Again this is really a very large monitor so the ability to adjust is essential. Given that the monitor is so heavy I could imagine it might be difficult to adjust. In the future I would definitely not purchase this monitor; I would buy a cheaper, smaller option. ... show more

I am a graphic designer and am so impressed with the colors on the monitor. I love the IPS setup and can arrange multiple windows around to enhance my workflow. I highly recommend this for creatives. The curvature is slight so straight lines being drawn are not distorted. Love this monitor!!

There are so many monitor options out there that make selection a very tedious process deciphering what has what. I wanted a 32-34" IPS 1440p wide screen curved monitor for my new Mac Mini. Most of the really cheap ones I've seen are 1080p VA screens. It also had to have USB-C or Thunderbolt because I have heard of problems running at native resolution via HDMI. And since this was not for gaming, I preferred one with really good color and contrast and accepted 60Hz refresh since I don't spend all day on it. For higher refresh and IPS, you'll have to pay a lot more like for a Dell Pro 34 P3425WE or a U3425WE. ... show more
