I dont understand why some of you are giving this coverage such low and negative reviews. I have had it and used it for a phone that ended up getting water damage and they covered it (with a fee mich leas that full replacement price), andbit was a smooth transaction. If you are expecting to pay absokutely zero and willy nilly without reading fine print, that is your misunderstanding. But the coverage is worthwhile, and nothing to say negatively. As long as im on amazon shopoing, i will maintain this coverage Lets hope it doesnt turn me down for any reason. I woupdnt eant to take back my review.

We got this for my son's phone and about 8 months later, we made a claim. No one told us the policy was then cancelled once the claim was fulfilled. But wither they never told Amazon that or Amazon let the notification fall through the cracks. AMAZON KEPT CHARGING US FOR THE NEXT 10 MONTHS lulling us into believing the plan was still active and covering the replacement. Another accident. We thought we were covered because we'd kept being billed, but Asurion tells us that despite us being billed for the last 10 months, we don't have a plan and told us to go get our money back from Amazon. So now I'm fighting with Amazon. Instead of the claim amount, my kid will get $80 and what kind of phone can he get for that? So angry at both companies. Will not trust either again.

I have used Asurion insurance for many years from travel insurance to electronic insurance and I have never had a problem when it came getting help when needed.

do not do it! I purchased this when I bought my phone from amazon - this insurance was offered to me at time of check out -- I've been paying monthly for insurance -- for nothing and I only found out when the phone broke and i tried to file a claim, asurion told me no insurance was active for the phone I purchased through amazon-they kept me on the phone for 5 hrs acting like they could help me .. kept transferring me.. for nothing. what a waste of time and so much money.

had a protection plan for my pixel 7 pro bought on amazon, have been paying monthly (inlcigin 3 days prior o this issue), when my phone recently started having chargnbg problems, went to submit claim- entered order number (from amazon)- was told that this informatio was incorrect and thus couldnt progress with claim- emailed asurion ciustomer service- they told me that IS the oreder number- emailed them back tto say it was not ebing accepted and received no response (also their chat not available during busines hours on a weekday)- got my phone serviced by alocal repair shop out of pocket- cancelled this useless plan. will never buy from the in the future.

I bought a 2-year Accident Insurance Plan when I bought a Galaxy S9. 1 1/2 years later, my screen cracked. I just wanted to get the screen fixed. But instead, Asurion said they wanted the phone back, and they would refund the price of my phone. I paid $88 for the plan initially, and had to pay another $49 insurance deductible when I asked for the refund. Then getting paid by Asurion was like pulling teeth. It took a long time, 7 phone calls, and I was regularly passed along to different Asurion phone agents during the calls, often put on hold for many minutes. One call lasted nearly 45 minutes. I had to make 2 more calls after Asurion said I should have gotten my refund. I eventually got my money, but it was a long and tedious experience. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Had I not stayed on top of Asurion, calling then regularly to check the status of my refund, I feel that my claim might have just gotten tied up in their systems, awaiting my next follow-up call.

This is a waste of money. There is absolutely no connection with the product it is insuring and no way to find the information on Amazon. This is a scam, they bill your card and there is no way to trace what it is for.

This sucks. I tried to make a claim and its telling me I cannot as this is a subscription warranty. If a payment is not made thru amazon. Amazon cancels it. I have been paying 7.49 a month and now that I need to make a claim its the silence treatment. What a rip off!
