The workmanship is poor and it fails to retain battery power. The rechargeable battery deteriorates quickly and is unable to maintain power. After that, it completely stops charging. This is extremely disappointing. Water entered the interior of the device, eventually causing the electronic components to short circuit.

The Asiwo Manta 2 has honestly been one of the coolest pool and vacation gadgets I’ve picked up in a long time. I got this for my twin nephews, and it immediately became the highlight of the entire trip. They spent hours in the pool and at the lake taking turns with it, diving underwater, racing each other, and just laughing nonstop. It kept them entertained far longer than I expected, which alone made it worth it. This is definitely a premium product, and the price reflects that, but after using it I can understand where the money goes. The build quality feels excellent compared to cheaper water toys. The body feels solid, the controls are responsive, and it has enough power to actually pull kids and smaller adults through the water smoothly instead of feeling like a gimmick. It’s surprisingly capable underwater and gives a really fun “mini sea scooter” experience. One thing I appreciated was how easy it was to use right out of the box. The nephews figured it out within minutes with almost no instruction. The controls are intuitive, and the safety features make it feel much more family-friendly than some other powered water devices I’ve seen online. It also has a comfortable size and weight balance where it’s portable enough to carry around without feeling flimsy. Battery life was better than expected considering the amount of use it got. We were able to get multiple swim sessions in before needing to recharge, and charging was straightforward. The scooter maintained good power throughout the charge cycle and didn’t noticeably weaken until the battery was getting low. Performance-wise, this thing is just plain fun. It has enough thrust to make underwater swimming feel effortless, and it encourages kids to be active in the water instead of just floating around. My nephews loved pretending they were scuba divers and underwater explorers. Even the adults ended up trying it because it looked so entertaining. The portability is another big plus. It fit easily in the vehicle with the rest of our vacation gear and wasn’t difficult to transport to the pool or lake. For a product in this category, it’s actually pretty compact. Now, this is absolutely not a cheap impulse purchase, and I think that’s important to mention. But unlike a lot of expensive gadgets that feel overpriced after a few uses, this one actually delivered the kind of experience you hope for at this price point. The quality, performance, ease of use, and amount of enjoyment it provided made it feel like a legitimate premium recreational product rather than a novelty toy. Overall, this was a huge hit with my family and easily earned 5 stars from us. This underwater scooter has been an absolute blast to use and has made our time in the pool and open water even more fun. It’s one of those products that immediately gets everyone’s attention and makes you want to jump in and try it. The first thing that impressed me was the power. The dual motors provide plenty of thrust, and it moves through the water much more smoothly and quickly than I expected. It gives you that fun “gliding” feeling underwater while still being easy to control. I also appreciate how user-friendly it is. The controls are straightforward, and the safety features make me feel much more comfortable letting older kids and less experienced swimmers try it. The automatic shutoff when released and the protective covers over the propellers are thoughtful additions that add peace of mind. Another standout feature is the floating design. It’s nice not having to worry about it sinking to the bottom if it gets dropped or released. That makes it much less stressful to use, especially during family outings. The battery life has been impressive as well. We’ve been able to enjoy extended play sessions without constantly needing to recharge, and the option to swap batteries is a huge plus for longer adventures. I also love that it includes a mount for an action camera. Being able to capture underwater footage while using the scooter adds another layer of fun and makes it perfect for vacations, snorkeling trips, and family memories. Overall, this is a well-designed, powerful, and incredibly fun underwater scooter that both kids and adults can enjoy. If you want to feel like a James Bond villain (in the best way possible), the Asiwo Manta 2 is the way to go. I’ve tried entry-level sea scooters before, but the Manta 2 is a significant step up in both thrust and build quality. With a top speed of 5.6 mph, it doesn't just "assist" you; it truly pulls you through the water, making it easy to cover massive reef sections without getting exhausted. The dual-motor design provides 33 lbs of thrust, which is plenty for an adult to fight through mild currents. One of my favorite features is the "one-hand mode," which allows you to steer with one hand while using the other to clear your mask or wave at the fish. It also has positive buoyancy, so if you accidentally let go, it won't sink to the bottom of the ocean, it just floats right up to the surface. Super fun to use. Order some extra batteries for extended use and you won't regret it. Pros: Impressive Speed: Three speed modes ranging from a casual glide to a very zippy 5.6 mph. Long Runtime: In "Slow" mode, you can get nearly 90 minutes of use, which is industry-leading for this size. Travel Friendly: At just under 10 lbs, it fits in most carry-on luggage and is easy to carry down to the beach. Safety First: Enclosed propellers make it safe for kids, and the auto-shutoff trigger is a great fail-safe. Camera Ready: The integrated GoPro mount is positioned perfectly for steady, centered underwater footage. Cons: Fast Mode Drain: If you keep it on the highest speed setting, the battery only lasts about 15–20 minutes. Save "Fast" mode for the sprints! Charging Time: It takes about 4–5 hours to reach a full charge, so you’ll want to charge it overnight before a big beach day.

I bought 1 units.neither worked so I requested a return. The guy said charge it for 8 hours... I did and they still didn't work. Did I get 2 prior returns? Oh and be careful. They did not provide a return label. Returns are on your dime and it ships to China. I would buy a different one. Customer service is not the best. They treat you like it's your fault they sold a scrappy defective product.

OMG this thing is SO fun! It was honestly the hit of the day at the beach. I love that you can use it both for cruising along the surface and for diving underwater, which makes it way more entertaining than I expected. It’s also really easy to use, even for first-timers. I especially appreciate the safety feature where it stops if you let go, but still stays nearby instead of floating away. This was a huge hit with the kids too — everyone wanted a turn 😄 Now I just need to rent a house with a pool because once I get in with this thing, I’m probably never getting out of the water again. Overall, this is an absolute blast and makes swimming even more fun. Highly recommend! 🌊
