Wow! Novablast 3 is a comeback of sorts. I loved the original Novablast I for its support & cushioning. Was so disappointed with Novablast 2. Despite the higher price, the mesh was too flimsy & lightweight for the narrow base. Novablast 3 is also made of synthetic mesh & it’s not as cushion-y as Novablast 1. Yet the base is wider & the tongue broader, which cradles the foot like no running shoe I’ve yet tried. Expensive yet worth it if you’re looking for stability & comfort. As with most Asics, they run a bit small so I’d recommend ordering 1/2 size up.

I bought these in purple at the store and then ordered these white ones. One pair I will use to work out and the other for running errands. My knee has been killing me and these have so much cushion it's like walking on air and I don't have all the aches and pains I usually have. I love these so much and have never loved a shoe so much that I bought 2 pairs. I'm a 9 and it's true to size. The cushion in the heel is delightful and I feel like I will be able to increase my running distance in these as well!

These are the best running shoes. They are really comfortable, are super cushiony and soft with lots of give around the foot. They have held up longer than any other shoes I’ve had. These are a great product and they shipped fast as well

Initial review after a couple of hours: Did add a Dr. S insert as that's kinda SOP for me, but I'm much happier than I was with a previously purchased brand (Dr. S insert added too) that starts with "SK" and now in the garbage. Like the lilac color and the squishy feel when I'm walking. Test? Work retail so I need to see how my feet survive standing still for hours. More on that later. Have to chime in about how the back of the heels extend out. Glad I was holding the railing as I walked down my steps today as it could have been nasty. Will update my review after wearing them at work.

I've been a fan of another excellent brand of runners which has served me well for many years. However, as I age (I'm a senior) and continue to run 8-10 miles about 4 days/week, these shoes have a great cushion for my heels and give me a welcome bounce which reduces fatigue at the end of a distance run. I still use my other runners (Brooks) for my shorter (5-7 miles) on my off days. I don't know how long these will last because I run 53-57 miles/week, but I'm certainly enjoying them now.
