Great cushion, wide toe box, length feels slightly longer than the 12s and is more cushion than the 12. Perfect them to Brooks. Have no pain on the balls of my feet even after lengthy use. Much much lighter weight than hokas.

My podiatrist said that I had made an excellent choice, "The shoes are well made and of good quality". I really like the gel cushioning. I had already purchased 2 pairs of Asics and had no idea that they were too short; I will donate these to high school students in the Fall. I selected these Asics because of the embossed logo. I love the color and the support they provide. Last year my Cardiologist advised me to walk. Little did I realize there would be ensuing complications. A Blacksmith friend recommended Asics years ago because he used gel in his practice with shoeing horses. He wore Asics and I quickly followed suit. I unknowingly bought the wrong size, 9 1/2. When I had my feet measured, I was told that I wore a 10. 2 Asics pairs later (3 mos), I was told that Asian manufactured 10s are not equivalent to an American made 10 and that I really needed a 10 1/2. Buying shoes on-line is trial and error and as I have experienced not the easiest thing for me to do. I love these shoes and after another adjustment to my orthotics, I will be good to go. Cheap material and an ugly shape and style. Asics changed the shape so the 8.5 W I have bought for years did not fit, the toe was too long and the ball too wide. I tried them on before returning and the shoe was uncomfortable with little or no padding or spring. Again, they used cheap material! It is over priced, but I wouldn't buy it for half cost! I have worn this same shoe for over 15 years and while the shape has changed some over time, I can not believe what Asics has done to this top of the line shoe. I am very very disappointed. Please bring back the style and quality of your past GT 2000 shoes. ... show more
