I have used and LOVED Asics brand shoes for 15 years. I have never had a problem, the shoe has always fit perfectly and if an issue (usually my fault for selecting the incorrect size) they have been more than accommodating! However, did the design change? I have a high arch and love getting new shoes from here. This is is the first time they have not had arch support! My old worn out pair have a high support than these. What happened?!

Very supportive. I do remove the insole and replace with Dr. Scholls Active because I need a very stiff arch support, but the sole of these shoes is very good. Great heel. I have always been a 9 1/2 in Asics. I am still a 9 1/2 in the Gel-Venture 8 in the peach/grey color. But the black/piedmont gray was shockingly smaller. I ended up being a 10 wide in the black. I held up the peach and black next to each other and they were very different. So depending on the color you may have to upsize, or even upsize and go wider. And yes, the peach fits just like the black as long as I change the size on the black pair.

I bought an older model of these shoes several years ago. I still have them, and I wore them well! I also wash them in the washing machine on three separate occasions. I finally had to retire them and get a new pair. I bought a different pair, but they weren’t as comfortable. To find these is like hitting the lottery!

These shoes are so comfortable that I can wear them all day and not have any aches or pain in my feet. I purchased my regular size 10.5 and the width was perfect with a little room to spare. They are perfect for workouts at the gym and going on my walks. I really like this shoe and would definitely recommend.

Still good support but doesn’t feel as sturdy. Fabric is lighter weight over prior generations of these shoe and I’m not sure how laces will hold up since they are the thinnest / lightest laces I’ve ever encountered. Still great for support of 16 hours on my feet. Just not confident in longevity from the feel of new materials.

If you are looking for an affordable shoe to walk or lift weights, these are great. I did return the shoes and bought a pair of Brookes. The ASICS did not have enough support for me to walk/run comfortably.

These have become my favorite. Once broken in they are luxurious. Great support and lots of padding. Terrific arch support. And the rubber soles are a little sticky on slick surfaces which is awesome. Great color too. Break in time took longer than Gel 7’s and they are sized just a tad larger than the Gel 7’s so a little thicker sock helps. Well worth taking a while to break in.
