ASICS are my favorite shoes when it comes to my sport, the sport of fencing. These are my second pair of Asics, that I was “forced” to buy after my favorite pair was discontinued. They are a bit stiff at first, but please give them a week or two (depending how often you wear them) to stretch and you are going to be ok. They are running a bit big, so order a half a size down. I love the salmon and white combination, and since they are fully leather, it will be very easy to keep them clean. I love them and wear them almost daily, and they are definitely not slippery when it comes to exercising. Just make sure to break them in before you start using them on the court. ... show more

I have had these shoes for 8 months and they already ripped likely from repetitive side to side motion while playing. I feel like a pair of pickleball shoes should be able to handle that. The toe area is more narrow as well so if you have wider feet that wouldn’t be a good idea. My feet are nearly narrow and after a hot day these are not that comfortable. Arch support seems to be okay. Slip resistant is mediocre. I play inside and out and damp and dry and they seem less resistant than my kswiss shoes that I had previously. This would count as a very warm shoes as the breathability isn’t there. No mesh on this shoe therefore no breathability. Tread is already pretty worn down. ... show more
