I had previously worn the Asics Gel Nimbus 26 for 1.5 years to work daily. I am on my feet all day. They felt like walking on a cloud. But, they were starting to break down inside and the material at the toes were starting to tear and get holes. I never found any other shoe with this much cushion, so I decided to go with another pair of Nimbus. They feel wonderful on my feet. I have narrow feet and had to buy the narrow fit because the regular width was too wide. Even with the narrow fit I still have a little too much room so I wear thicker socks to help. They are true to size.

Bought these for distance running. They've been great overall. I've put about 170 miles on them so far and the foam is shredding slightly and the fabric on the upper tore a small hole after a particularly rough fall I had on pavement which was a bummer but they've held up otherwise. I expect they'll hold up like my Nimbus 24s which have continued to last as walking shoes beyond 300 miles. Like the 24s, these were comfy out of the box; the only issue I had breaking them in was they felt like running on hot coal after mile 4-5 until I put about 40 miles on them total. This past weekend I ran an ultramarathon in them and they were perfect: no blisters, bruising, nothing even after 30 miles straight (running socks help a lot too). If they're your first running shoe or if you need a wide shoe, I recommend going up a size from your typical street shoe or at least getting fitted at a store. I usually wear size 7 and I bought these in an 8 and they're perfect when I tie them with the heel lock lacing method.

Miracle shoes for a daily walker. I walk at least 2 miles per day. I’ve tried so many shoes including Brooks and Hoka. None of them combined arch support, ball of foot cushion, large toe box, and secure fitting. These asics have it all. I have no foot pain! Finally!

Best supportive sneaker ever made! As a nurse on her feet all day, these sneakers keep me free from foot pain. I’ve worn other brands such as Brooks, but these have the gel support that work. Highly recommend!

I typically LOVE Asics. I bought the Gel Nimbus 27 cause of hallux rigidus. It does help with that. But thes shoes EAT my socks cause of.the thick cushionat the heel (my opinion)! And there is too much stitching for.them.to be comfortable without socks.

I love these so much they are my standard against what I measure every other shoe now. They are like walking on gently bouncing clouds with every step. About me & foot conditions: I’m a 5’4” woman and I’m not a skinny gal at all, and I hold most of my weight in my hips and thighs. I have wide feet, fallen arches/flat feet, and my big toe turns inward in a hallux valgus/bunions way. Where you land on your foot when walking or running: I’m a heel striker when walking and forefoot/midfoot when I’m going downstairs. I don’t feel a bit of impact either way. Toebox: roomy vertical and horizontal so toes can spread and wiggle. Cushioning: Fluffy foamy goodness! But it doesn’t make the shoes feel heavy. The midfoot cushioning is a teensy bit less than the heel. It’s also what gives you the energy return; a nice little rebound with each step nothing crazy but it sure feels good. The heel cushioning is around 40mm and that is a marshmallowy thing of beauty. You do not feel impact on your bones and muscles when moving. Heel drop is 8mm and feels great to me. Cost: I haven’t bought sneakers or athletic shoes in over a decade and apparently more squishy, comfortable support, the higher the price may run. So it may seem like a lot, it feels like the new normal. Arch support: lovely for flat feet and or small arches. It says it’s good for higher arches but they weren’t too high for me. They hug your ankle and provide stability but it’s not over done. Just enough keep you going Quality: I’ve had them for a few weeks now and they haven’t gotten dirty and held up well. It’s my first pair of ASICS but it certainly won’t be my last. If they fall apart on me I’ll update.
