I really like these shoes they're very comfortable. First time ever getting a pair of Asics. I thought the sole would be too thick and by looking at it it looks a little thick to me but I never had shoes with thick soles I'm sure I'll get used to them very comfortable. It has enough arch support for me I have like a regular arch not to high not to low. The toe box is pretty wide. I was reading reviews that said go up a half a size so I did and I'm glad I did they fit perfect. Asics is my new brand. I only use these for walking I'm just a walker only about 4 mi a day broken up into 2. I'm 62 years old with arthritis all over and fibromyalgia and neuropathy in my feet these are very comfortable. They're not heavy shoes I just think they might be a little bit too warm but I can handle it. They do breathe good in the toe Just toward the back by the heel they're very supportive so I feel they're a little warm but my feet always get warm. All in all I would recommend. In the picture the soles look like they're pink they're not.The soles are white. The quality is good very good made shoe.

Beautiful, comfortable, stylish, and has its purpose. Now, I won't blame the shoes for the small pockets formed where my arch is because my feet are the problem. I suffer from Plant Fasciitis and I've been cursed with it. Due to it I invest more in Asics shoes than in dressy ones, can't wear them. I wish I could 🥺 I got these based on review from people with PF and I don't recall how long I've been doing my research but I do hope these are the ones. It'll be my pairs number 12 but my first Kayano. I read they upgraded these as well.

We averaged walking 10miles a day on our vacation in Spain and Southern France. I have a bunion issue, need arch support, am heavier than normal right now so my feet get tired, heal soreness, etc. This shoe checked ALL the boxes!!! My feet were sooooo comfortable! They are lightweight too!!! *** They do run a little small. I’m a 9 and ordered a 9 1/2 and they fit perfect! No break in time. I have one wide foot (with the bunion) but the regular size was wide enough in the toe box 👍. Highly recommend 🌟

Finally, a sneaker that's wide enough not to hurt my bunions AND they are also very cushiony when walking or standing. I have a stand-up desk at work and only sit during my lunch break, so I need a comfortable shoe. I also stand on a anti fatigue mat but without a shoe/sneaker that also has cushion, I go home with sore feet, ankles and legs. These help considerably with that. They are worth the hefty price tag and I'm happy with my purchase.

Good comfort for walking and daily wear. Support neither spongy/cushy, nor stiff - good balance. Practical color, not gaudy and don't scream, "Hey look at my big feet!" Sizing was true. Adequate toe box,Do not slip on the heel. Gel-Kayanos have long been my "go to" for flat, over-pronating, long, skinny feet. Huge off white sole seems to attract sniffs and stains easily. The sole is not attractive or easy to maintain.

I have fibromyalgia that has progressed very much over the past few years. I also have flat feet, spurs in my feet, and edema in my legs. It is nearly impossible to find shoes at all. Most of the time I wear CROCS. However, I am a haunted house reviewer and have to wear sneakers and do a lot of walking when we visit all of the different attractions. Most sneakers are too cushy or too hard and cause me more pain. I tried most of the expensive shoes that others recommend and was thinking finding a pair that work for me is not happening. Then someone on my team told me about these shoes and she said they were cushy in the soul, but the shoe itself was more stable and does not feel squishy. In a last ditch effort, I ordered a pair and I am so grateful! Not only are they perfect, once I adjusted the shoe strings correctly, but the more I wear them, the better I feel! Wonderful, comfortable, support and feather light! Thank you, ASICS! I plan to stock up on them.

Runner here. I rely on the Kayano for stability, especially ankle motion control. It's been a great shoe for years. This version is not that shoe! After a 3 mile run, the insides of my ankles hurt. This version completely removes the ankle motion control in the heel and relies completely on the new features of the sole. However, the new sole construction results in a very clunky ride. There's a clunk-clunk sound with every stride -- the first clunk when the heel strikes, the 2nd clunk when the rest of the sole lands. The fluidity of previous versions is completely lost, which negates any additional cushioning. I didn't feel it at all. After run #1, I took these shoes to my physical therapist and we compared my stride with this version and the Kayano 29s on the treadmill. The clunk-clunk of the 30s could be heard through his office. He confirmed the 29s better controlled the ankle mobility and provided a more fluid stride. I'm so sad my perfect running shoe no longer exists.

Decided to spend more on my footwear as I’m getting older and need to be preventative in care of my joints so I can continue to run and move. I have slightly arched, average size 10 feet. They are not narrow but not extra wide but prob slightly more wide than some. They are long and my ankles swell easily. These felt really good, especially for running in new shoes- usually I need to adjust or break them in. I will be putting duct tape on the inside where my big toe is bc I know it’s going to push through eventually if not. I keep my toes trimmed and feet in good shape and I do lace my shoes well and tight but I foresee this happening at some point and I’d like these to last at least a year or more. The support and cushion is so helpful for running and absorbing some of the shock. Always had good experience with ASICS and these do not disappoint.
