This is my 2nd pair of Asics. These are the most comfortable tennis shoes. The inside are shaped so my toes confirm to the grips making walking/running more secure. I did buy a 1/2 size larger. I've owned these running sneakers for four months now. I bought size 9.5 M and they seem too small. I owned the Gel-Kayano-27s in the same size before I bought these ones so I thought I was buying the right size but my toes keep butting up against the front of the shoe. If I were to buy them again, I would buy a size 10 M. The shoes are comfortable and they have good arch support and stability but there is a lot of padding in the heel which seems to push my foot forward in the shoe. Another problem I had with the shoes is that my toes would start to hurt when I walked a few miles in them. I changed the insoles and put in the insoles from my old Gel-kayano-27s and my toes stopped hurting. I think there might be a surface on the insoles that rubbed my toes the wrong way? I always wear socks with the shoes so I don't really know what the problem was. Given that my old insoles fit into the new Kayanos, they are probably the right size but the cushioning in the back seems to push my feet too far forward. I have tried using the lacing hole closest to the ankle and got some relief but they are still bothering me. I thought the problems would go away after a while but not yet. ... show more

I love this shoe, this season and the newest season are equally comfortable. They have a wide toe box which is important to me and I can wear them for my whole 12 hour shift and feel great! Will definitely buy again!

I walk a lot at my job on hard hallway floors. These shoes are like walking on a cloud. They are true to size (my average 8M was their 8). I also noticed that they don't "catch" on the polished linoleum floors at work. That is a nice plus! I got the light champagne color and they do attract dirt. I would recommend an application of some sort of fabric protectant. I did rinse mine off with a little dish detergent and a soft brush and set them in the sun to spot clean. The look of the shoe and fabric on top are great. It seemed to have decent padding but it was narrow and the heel cup was too tight. It just didnt have a comfort feel to them.

Another Asics shoe with a nearly perfect foot bed. Very cush under Ball of foot and heel. They seemed very stable except the outer heel of the left shoe. I sized up my usual half size and I could have gone up another half size or more.
