I ordered this shoe in white and loved it. It had a traditional tongue and laces. Which I expected. I ordered the gray and there was no tongue or pad around the ankle. It was all one piece of stretch fabric which didn’t allow me to adjust the tongue for my high arch/ raised foot. Zoom the photos of all the colors because they aren’t the same shoe as the description states. The gray was returned and I ordered black- with a tongue and ankle padding

Bought a pair almost a year ago and loved to softness of the footbed liner. Before that, I had a few pairs of Cumulus, which were not as soft. This pair felt incredible out of the box. Before tying laces, the heel was so soft and wrapped snugly. I’m a former distance racer, now 65 yr woman 5’9” 137 lbs doing about 10-12 miles per week and gym time on treadmill and elliptical. Have to limit mileage due to a couple of small bone spurs, osteoarthritis on top of tibia. PT and changing to a shorter stride length have saved me. I have a narrower foot with high arch, where most medium shoes are a bit loose-fitting. These felt like a soft hug for my feet immediately, just amazing. I was so excited , that my husband told me to take a quick run around the block, and it was so great!!! The previous pair wore very well, especially soles. Because of an injury from arthritis, I did more gym time than roads, but they held up from the road work, too.

I replaced an old pair of Asics gels with this new pair and after wearing them for 3 weeks I've found they run more narrow than my previous pair, even after loosening the laces. I'm on my feet most of the day so I need good support but find these a bit tight. Also, something about the fabric holds grass, etc which is really annoying as they look dirty all the time, and it is difficult to brush off the grass. I am unlikely to re-purchase this shoe but have worn it too much to return it.

I bought these for the pattern and price. I've been using the ASICS gel cumulus 24 womens size 8 wide sneaker for a while. I wanted a back up pair but didn't really care for the colors so I tried the Gel Cumulus 23 instead. They had these in an 8 wide and because the 24's feel a little bit larger in the toe bed, I went with a 7.5 in these instead. These don't feel as wide compared to the 24's and the toe bed is smaller. I should have went with the 8 but kept them anyway because they are still comfortable. These brand and style sneakers got me through Disney with bad knees and are really helping me to walk more without pain.

This is not a workout shoe for me but a work-week-end confort shoe for strolls and at work. I change the sole all the time for an insole I like but happy with the shoe quality and confort. It's the second time I buy this exact model.

I ordered several Asics shoes and all were too short for my size 10 foot. I returned all and reordered sizes 10.5 and 11 to determine what my Asics size is, while each Asics fit my feet uniquely. Other Asics styles were more comfortable on my feet, so I did not reorder this Gel cumulus 23, while it seemed well made and a good shoe.
