I know they're running shoes, and the big heal is less than ideal for jumping sports, but I would have killed for this much cushion under the ball of my foot when I was playing volleyball. It's just so thick and squishy. And not fake squishy like memory foam. I'm over 200lbs and this continues to provide shock absorption after the first 10 seconds. As in like all day. To be fair it took a little bit to get used to, more of my foot had to carry some (any) load. So my whole foot was a little fatigued (after years - a whole lifetime even - of doing nothing to support my weight). The real cushion is so obvious when you first put them on. But the fatigue surprised me. A few days later, it was all good.
