Stylish color with a good fit. I've been wearing Asics Gel-Venture since the 5th or 6th generation. The 9's are just as comfortable as previous generations. I got a pair of the Green for now, the Midnight for when I go through the Green, and then I also got Black (to wear occasionally for casual-wear) to replace my New Balance black shoes that were horribly uncomfortable. All three pairs fit exactly the same, and none of them had a weird squeak that required a return - this had happened to me with both the 7th and 8th gen Gel-Venture. Everybody has their favorite shoes, but I've tried them all and they are so much more comfortable than the likes of Nike or Adidas, especially in the balls of the foot, and they have better arch support as well.

My first ASICS was a Gel-Khana 6 Trail (2014), then a Gel Venture 5 Trail (in 2020), now this beauty Gel-Venture 9! and I expect nothing less than the quality I have always got with ASICS. I plan to change shoes after 4-500 miles but with my Venture 5 I had done nearly 600 and apart from what I imagine might be going on inside the sole, on the outside they look like they can go another 500 miles! I am compelled to big-up this shoe because I am blown away by the comfort and strength and have no desire to experiment with another.. Extreme value for money..

The extra-wide is wide enough for 3E foot, a bit tight but better than most. Very firm sole and base of shoe. Doesn’t have big, cushy sole and related feel like Hoka’s or many other shoes with large pillow like soles. This is not a criticism, just suggest this shoe should be purchased specifically for running. The firmer sole has good support and better feel when running.

The shoe is comfortable with decent cushioning. I run in ASICS Nimbus shoes and this shoe is not in the same league as the Nimbus. But I had an older model of this Venture trail running shoe that I wore to mow the yard in and do other yard work. The trail sole makes it great for that. The sizing is consistent with other ASICS shoes. I usually wear a 9 1/2 and this shoe fits well in a 9 1/2. Overall a comfortable, well made shoe.

Light and supportive enough. My husband has plantar fasciitis and tried using shoes w/ a medial post but they were too heavy and uncomfortable for him. These work very well and are good quality, just enough support.

A couple of the ASICS models that I’ve worn are no longer made. I tried this pair after reading the review concerning stability and tread wear. My orthopedics fit in the shoe perfectly and I still had plenty of foot room all around. I really like the tread pattern and the color scheme is really nice. This model will certainly become my go to pair of running shoes. Plenty of different color schemes to choose from for my next pair too.

I had been wearing hiking shoes to the gym, and although they looked like a workout shoe my feet were not happy. These new ASICS Men's Gel-Venture 9 Shoes, look and feel great while working out. Great shoe at a fair price point. My feet feel much better after 30 minutes of aerobics.

These ASICS shoes were exactly my size (wide enough), lightweight, and great quality. I started buying ASICS after discovering that New Balance was a major contributor to the Trump campaign and that New Balance became the preferred shoes for the alt-right. I tossed all my New Balance shoes out! I'm so, so glad that I found ASICS! ASICS are the best shoes that I've ever owned, and I've been running everyday since the mid 1960s.
