I've used Asics for over 10 years and they continue to satisfy me with their footwear. I'm a happy customer of Asics and only wear Asics. I use them for every day, working out, and playing volleyball. They are comfortable, fit incredibly well, and are very light with great traction which is good for athletic movement. I've never had a negative concern of any of their products let alone this shoe/version which is my 4th one of these over the past 6 years.     • Terrible decision to attach cheap-assed laces

The shoes pretty much fit as expected and feel good. I'm happy with that. I have been buying and wearing nothing but Asics for my morning jaunts (5 miles per day) for the last 10 years, BUT, I'm guessing to cut cost, these shoes have been fitted with even thinner than normal laces. When I pull to tighten the laces when putting on the shoes, this is the first time in my life I fear they will break if I pull too hard. NOT A GOOD DECISION ASICS MANAGEMENT! I will not buy another pair of ASICS online (if at all) unless I can check out the laces first. If they are all like this, I'll find something else. ... show more

I have warn these for two months traveling around the West. They have been great. They were replacements for a more conventional shoe from same mfg and at first I thought this was too much. But on city streets in Tucson to ice cold hiking in New Mexico, they offered a great combo of support and comfort. In sloppy conditions I would wear boots but these were my everyday footwear for two months. Good to go. (The laces seem lightweight and may not go the distance but….) ... show more

I've always had good luck with Asics shoes. These I bought just for daily 2-mile walks. No complaints with the shoes, per se, thus far. I will note that my older Asics all have substantial round laces which grip really well - I never have to double knot them. I've been wearing these for a couple weeks now. I have neuropathy that causes my feet to be in various intensities of pain almost 24-7. These seem to work well for comfort most days. Great shoe for the price. Super light on the feet. Haven't been very familiar with Asics since my high school wrestling days, but these are very nice & give me ideal support. Been through air max, shox & others, yet these are more comfy. Hope this helps prospective buyers.

I bought these in extra wide and they're not extra wide. They are wider than a normal-width shoe but by no means extra wide. Luckily they aren't so narrow that I can't wear them.

This is s a good shoe for outdoor Pickelball. Good support and it is sturdy. They do run small. I ordered a 11 for a size 10.5 foot and I could not get the shoe on. Reordered a 12 and they fit fine.
