  • Great Shoe!
Size: 11.5 Wide Color: Illusion Blue/Glow Yellow
Really like the color. Size perfect. Very comfortable!

  • Maybe too much support?
Size: 12 Color: Illusion Blue/Glow Yellow
Beautiful looking shoe. Completely redesigned from top to bottom. Super soft foam with plenty of stack. This is a 5 star rated shoe that gets a 4 star for my personal use only because I have out grown / out run the need for a stability shoe. I have always been on the borderline of neutral vs stability (Nimbus vs Kayano). Difference now is I run almost exclusively outdoors (treadmill at gym for inclement weather and speedwork only) which was strengthened by feet. In the past it was the opposite. I was exclusively a treadmill runner so the few times I ran outside warranted a stability shoe. I would feel the soreness in my arches sometimes. But when running in these, I didn't get that nice pillowed feel of the Nimbus (I know its a different shoe with different design goals). Instead my knees were sore because the shoe did not allow me to roll through my natural gait. Never had those feeling with neutral shoes and its a first with the Kayano. The support is there in spades and its supper soft. Much better than the Bondi 8 which I feel is too stiff. If you need the support for your arches BUY IT! If not then the Nimbus is a better buy. ... show more

  • Perfect max cushioning stability running shoe
Size: 11.5 Wide Color: Carrier Grey/Piedmont Grey
I tried out a bunch of shoes for running moderate distances of 3-5 miles. I ended up settling on the Kayano 30. The Saucony Guide 16 and Mizuno Wave Inspire 19 were both in a very close second. I tried all of the shoes in a 11.5 wide. Gel Kayano 30: Best overall for a person with a wide and flat foot, who wants support and maximum cushion for long runs. This is the perfect shoe in that respect. -350 grams -Softness: 5/5 -Support/Guide: 4/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 5/5 -Width: Wide Brooks Glycerin GTS 20: Best overall for a person with wide and flat foot, who wants a firm and nimble feeling ride and support. This is the perfect shoe in that respect. -350 grams -Softness: 1/5 -Support/Guide: 3/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 5/5 -Width: Wide Saucony Guide 16: Best overall for a person with a wider foot, who wants a medium level of cushioning and support. This is the perfect shoe in that respect. -350 grams -Softness: 3/5 -Support/Guide: 5/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 4/5 -Width: Wide Mizuno Wave Inspire 19: Very good for a person with a wide and flat foot, who wants high cushioning for long runs. Very similar fit to the Saucony Guide 16, but with less support, slightly more cushioning, and a slightly less smooth heel to toe ride. Only real downside is that the cushioning is so soft that it "bottoms out" as if the foam isn't thick enough and you hit the harder base of the shoe under the cushioning. -343 grams -Softness: 4/5 -Support/Guide: 2/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 3/5 -Width: Wide New Balance Vongo V5: Best overall for a person with a more normal/narrow width foot who wants a little stability and soft cushioning. This is a slightly more narrow and slightly more soft version of the Saucony Guide 16. Similar to the Mizuno Wave except that it's more narrow and has a little more support. -320 grams -Softness: 4/5 -Support/Guide: 3/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 5/5 -Width: Normal/Narrow Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23: Best overall for a person with a more narrow/normal width foot who wants support and a firm and nimble feeling ride for shorter and faster runs. Not a light shoe though. Feels like a more narrow and slightly more firm version of the Glycerin GTS 20. -Softness: 1/5 -Support/Guide: 3/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 5/5 -Width: Normal/Narrow Saucony Tempus: Very light shoe. Fairly firm and feels a little stiff and clunky in the ride from heel to toe. No real advantage unless you just want a really light shoe. Questionable durability. 310 grams -Softness: 2/5 -Support/Guide: 3/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 2/5 -Width: Normal Saucony Omni 20: Similar to the Brooks Glycerin in that it's good for a person with a wide flat foot, who wants a more firm shoe with support. But the ride isn't as smooth and the shoe isn't nimble feeling and there's slightly less support. It is slightly softer than the Glycerin though. Very heavy for how firm it is. Would be a better walking shoe. -350 grams -Softness: 1.5/5 -Support/Guide: 2/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 5/5 -Width: Wide ... show more

  • extremely comfortable, order a half size up
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: Black/Sheet Rock
These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. Soft, cushy feel inside. These are the best for treadmill and outside jogging. I was using inappropriate tennis shoes, and experienced heel spurs and gout. These are the best shoes to continue running, while providing care and comfort to your feet in the process of healing. Asics was one of the brands my doctor recommended as well. Order a half size up, because they run a little small. I would get the wide as well if you feet are normal to wide. I usually wear a 9, but got a 9.5 wide. They fit perfectly now. My feet feel flat in the shoe, and my running posture is better. Love them! ... show more

  • Great but long to break it
Size: 14 Wide Color: Carrier Grey/Piedmont Grey
Great shoe and very comfortable once broken in. Took about 15miles to really break in but once done the shoe felt lighter and more molded to my feet.

  • Nice comfort
Size: 11 Color: White/Black
First, they got here quickly. Second, the look great. Last, they fit great and feel like I'm walking on cushion with lots of support for my duck🦆 feet. ❤️ them.

  • My knees hurt when I walk.
Size: 10.5 Color: Carrier Grey/Piedmont Grey
My first two Asics were great. Then the last two model years didn't fit well. Bought the Kayano 30 after reading reviews. The Kayano 30 seems to have a flat spot under the arch when I walk. Tried using different inserts. None work. I bought them for walking on hard surfaces. I'm able to use them on the elliptical machine. They look too wide. Fortunately, my request to return the Asics was accepted. ... show more
