I bought this drum Kit to just have for my home studio. After reading all the reviews this kit seemed to be a good deal for the money. When it arrived which it came a day earlier then scheduled which was a nice surprise. As I was setting it up which by the way was very easy, it takes about 2 hours, there is no way around that but it was easy. I was struck by the quality of the set and how it seemed to be a much better set then the price would lead you to believe. After I dialed in the Kit, I was amazed on the sound that I was getting from this set. I was impressed and very happy with my purchase . If you are looking for a starter kit for someone just learning how to play the drums, you can't go wrong with this set. If you are looking for a set to gig with, if you get better cymbals this kit would do the job. ... show more

My 14 year old son received the drum set as a gift. He was very pleased with the quality and sound. Overall, we are very happy with purchase. Assembly took 2 hours. Directions were a bit confusing.
