These boots seem like they would keep water out a fair while (I returned them, so I don't know how they would perform in real-world conditions), they are a little heavy, but not overly so -- kind of like a heavy pair of running shoes. They seem sturdy. I like the plush lining all through the shoe, though I would prefer a little more cushion under the foot. The snowflakes on the outside are cute and the the blue was a pleasant, but not eye-catching bright hue. The closure is convenient -- a stretch band where laces would typically be with a velcro flap at the top for closure -- but if you have narrower ankles/feet, it might be tough to get a good tightness. The primary reason I returned these is the width, particularly in the toe of the foot. Even with a thick sock, there was too much room for my feet (regular width, as far as I know) and the front part of the show just looked really clunky and unattractive on me. Otherwise, these would probably be reasonable walking/hiking shoes. ... show more

I love these boots. They’re so warm and comfortable, and I feel very stable even on slick or mildly icy ground. For the price, they’re amazing. They feel like they’re good quality too, something that’ll last me a couple years. 10/10 recommend
