Can you really have a favorite plain rain boot? Yes! I bought them in black. These basic rain boots are really comfortable, and I can wear all day. My feet never feel like they can’t “breathe” when I’ve worn them. I have big calves, so I always look for a shorter boot style such as these. I wear them at home and abroad. On many a vacation where the weather either threatened to rain, or actually did rain, I was able to walk all day sightseeing, climbing steps and wet walkways without a problem. The tread is good - and I never once slid on any surface. I wouldn’t go rock climbing in them. But, I’d wear them in urban areas, on dirt and gravel pathways, and on even on airplanes and cruise ships. No blisters. No achy feet. No wet feet. And, no slipping! I have averaged width feet (I don’t wear a wide, or a narrow) - but I feel my feet are a tad bit wider across the base of my toes. These boots did fit a bit snugly there. So I do not wear thick socks with them. If you sometimes end up with shoes that are too narrow in the toe-box area, I’d recommend going up a half size if it’s available. Or, go up a full size and wear thicker socks. These aren’t “cutesy”, with graphics or bows and bling. They are basic, and will go with many outfits. I hope that this review helps you decide. I know it’s what I would’ve liked to hear when picking out rain boots.

I needed an affordable slip-on bootie to wear when it's wet outside, but I still want to look nice. I've worn them to the store when it's rainy, or on a walk when it's a little muddy, even to clean up the yard! Not a dressy shoe, but not a structured hiking boot. And these wipe right off! I chose dark brown which could pass for leather if you don't look too close. I've styled them with folded down wool socks; with tights; slim pants, or jeans. They don't have great arch support or padding, but I think I can slide my orthotics in if I choose. While not as breathable as leather, the fabric lining means they're not sweaty. I think they're a good value for the price. I will update this review if I have a complaint later on.

After deciding to try an above the ankle boot vs mid calf or below the knee, I feel like it was the right call for me. These boots are not only stylish like a Chelsea boot, but are solid in the rain, muck and whatever you have a navigate when when walking. They are very comfortable, easy to slip on and off. I do wear a thicker sock with these boots for maximum comfort. The excellent traction is the best part. I bought a few pairs of new rain boots that all went back as the traction didn’t give me confidence I needed having to trek up a muddy hillside. Highly recommend these boots. I can see wearing for other activities besides a rainy day. Great quality, great pricing.

Took on a recent trip to London. They were great for the constant drizzly weather, kept my feet warm and dry. Looks great with jeggings and leggings. Gave 3 stars for comfort and support because they are flat boots. Bought inserts for arch support, which did make the boot a little tighter. They were fine with a thinner boot socks but definitely a bit tighter with a thicker sock They were great for a day we did a tour, as we were taking a bus to different spots so there was rest in between walking. The day I wore them for 10 hours of walking, they were not so great, even with the insert. I would still recommend, but maybe get a better insert with more cushioning.

I've been wanting cute ankle rain boots to wear in the yard for a while. I've had higher calf versions from places like Payless and Target before but the smallest they ever had was a size 6 and it was just too big and clunky and uncomfortable to walk around I'm normally a size 5 to 5 1/2 shoe and I wear child socks in size Medium. The size 5 boot fits me like a dream. They're also fairly cute as rain boots go. I'd definitely wear these out on a rainy day. They're not too hard to get on, although I do have to use my hands/fingers a little bit--I can't just slip them on. They also have decent arch support. As a bonus, my puppy hasn't been able to chew them up yet!

I love my rain boots, they do the job! Got the black with pink bottom, they are super cute and I have gotten many compliments. I’m usually a size 7 in woman boots so I got a 7.5 for these. I’m glad I got a half size bigger because I wear these with thick fuzzy socks and they fit perfectly. I wore them with regular thin socks and my feet got cold, so now I know to always use them with thicker socks. Definitely recommend! :)

I bought these boots in a half-size larger than my normal 8 after reading the reviews. I don’t think I would ever have need to wear really thick socks here in the south, so my regular size would have been a better fit. Although the extra half-size also would’ve allowed me to put an arch support inside, which would have been needed if I had kept them. The inside pad offers no support or arch at all. I ended up returning them after four or five trials in the house. The pink sole does provide a nice pop of color for everyone else to see, but looking down at my own feet all I got was bored. Coupled with the need to invest further in an arch support, I decided to return and pick something else. That’s just personal pickiness tho. I do believe the boots were well made, and they were easy to get on and off.

First off, adorable. These blue sparkly boots are so cute, and they fit as expected for an 8.5, even with my slightly wide feet. However, they are not very comfortable. The sole is thin, they are neither supportive nor warm, and the shaft is a bit short. Overall I find myself choosing other boots over them pretty much always when it is actually rainy; all those issues make them not very practical. But if it is just a little damp in the springtime and you won’t need to be on your feet all day, maybe these are perfect for you. :)
