The robe itself is just what my wife wanted, fits well, very soft and comfortable, robe weight is just right for her. The dumb thing is the way it was shipped. NO BOX, NO SOFT PACK, the mailing label was stuck on the light weight, clear plastic, that the robe was packed in from the manufacturer. This was not suitable for mailing, when we picked it up a good 25% of the plastic was torn off and the robe was exposed. Luckily no physical damage to the robe occurred, but there was some soiling where it was unprotected. Washing the robe took care of that, but we were obviously disappointed in receiving a product so poorly shipped. ... show more

First of all, it definitely needed a wash to eliminate the dye or strong manufacturing smell (once washed it was fine and also fluffy!). Color was not what I expected. I ordered Sea Foam and the image on the website looks light blue/grey. It is definitely more of a light green/mint color. Robe is very roomy, and as a petite person, an XS would have been sufficient (I ordered a Small). Shoulder seams are below my actual shoulders quite a bit. Decent quality, and once washed, super soft and comfy. A perfect weight (not too lightweight or too bulky). Despite the strong initial smell and variation of color, I do like this robe. ... show more

While I can’t speak for long term longevity, the immediate result is great! The only complaint is that the body doesn’t wrap around me as well as the one that got replaced with this product, and I probably would have ordered a size up for this reason had I tried this on in person. For reference, I’m about 160lbs and 5’4”. However, its not enough for me to not enjoy the robe, it’s really nice to have for getting out of the shower, especially with a new baby to take care of. The hood is great to keep my neck warm and I love the color! I’d absolutely recommend this to anyone who asks Edit to add: some of the threading on one sleeve has started to unravel a bit a month or so into ownership of this robe when I use it two to three times a week. It’s otherwise continuing to work well though ... show more

I really wanted something to put on the second I stepped out of the shower due to the cold climate. It’s the perfect thickness without feeling bulky. It’s very absorbent so I don’t need an extra towel. It was more than I wanted to spend but I don’t regret it in the least.

I just looked up when I bought this and it was September 2017! I still use this regularly and love it. It is thick and heavier (Not too heavy, but comforting heavy). I am deciding it is time for a new one. I liked the hood, but I don't use it like I thought I would, so I am hoping to find this exact same robe without the hood! The other reason I want to buy a new one, is mine is white and a few months ago I got some type of serum on it, and it didn't wash or bleach out, and I don't like the stain looking at me in the mirror. But honestly, I'm not looking for a new one because this one is worn out or wearing thin, it still is great, but I think after 7 years it is time for a new one! This washes and dries well. Thinner and lighter than expected but it was soft and the right size. Was very pleased until I washed it. I pulled it out of the dryer and it has huge splotches all over it. It was washed with natural fragrance free detergent and I never use bleach so I can only chalk the discoloration up to poor product quality. The fit was a little large- I am a size 10-12 and ordered a small, and it was still a little bit large, but that's ok! It's a bathrobe and should be big! I got it to wear to the hot tub, and it's nicely absorbent. It is softer if dried in the dryer, hanging it on the line to dry left it feeling a little rough, but that's pretty typical for an all-cotton terry cloth. It monogrammed well too! I ordered the pink one, and it's a nice soft clear pink- not too bright, not too rosy, just a pretty pale pink. I am very happy with it. ... show more
